The estimator showed up to give me an estimate on my roof. I had to loan him a ladder. He was on my roof for only a few minute and then wrote up an estimate. It was very high. He explained that my roof required 70 squares of shingles. I told him that I had 3 estimates prior to his and they all said the roof was 55 squares. He hemmed and hawed a bit and then said think about it and call him. I thought about it. It seemed like a rip off. I am sure he didn't measure my roof. He was up there for too short a time and he was 15 squares higher than everybody else.
