My installation went very well. I was so pleased that I referred two neighbors to Voltaic for solar. However, that went very poorly and both neighbors were very frustrated with the lack of communication, slowness of the project, and to resolve their issue. I found out when I referred them there was a $500 payment for referrals. The company has never honored that reward. my neighbors and I have tried contacting the company and representative for different concerns to no avail. I can no longer consider referring any homeowners to them in the future.
The install was fast, the crew was professional and I loved their communication. ZI was skeptical about the Quietcool fan, but it is really noticeable in my home. I would recommend Voltaic for any of your energy needs.
This Job is a SCAM. They have you attend an initial zoom session then followup with you with a second interview with a manager that never happens. The manager calls, leaves a message, never follows up even after several phone and text messages.
Omar P.This is not a good company to get your solar from. They do not explain correctly how ""their service"" actually works. They LIE about how much you will pay. Even with the extra 20% more power output you will still have to pay over $40 to Edison (Hesperia CA) plus the new loan that you need to install the solar panels with them. Your bill will increase. Remember Edison sells you electricity at way higher prices than the ones it buys the extra electricity from you during the day. Carlos Cruz went MIA after they installed the solar panels and will not reply nor take my fathers phone calls. It has been a few months and no one told my father that the real provider is a company called Nexus. They did not even tell him about the app that Nexus has. Even though he kept asking. Their sales tactics are not good ether. They run your credit before they give you any numbers just to make sure that they do not waste their time with you if you do not have good credit. Not only that, they supposedly cannot give you a quote unless they run your credit score. They cannot even give you an example of what you would be paying if your credit score was 600, 700, 800 etc. This is nonsense of course. As anyone that has the least bit understanding of numbers can understand what those numbers mean. Price of the system (how many solar panels), APR (based on credit score/markets), any down payments, How many years (15year / 25 year etc), plus any tax breaks and any other offers they have at the time of contract. They just do not want to give the information on how much the actual system costs. I would not recommend this company at all specially not with Carlos Cruz. If I could give it 0 starts I would.
I would give 0 stars. Rep Chris Ortiz explained everything in detail we signed up for Solar Panels. In 2 weeks panels were up back in December 2022. From then on no one answers or returns call it is now June 14,2023. As of today nothing has been completed. Poor customer service no one knows what they are doing. Speaking to Lisa Logback is like talking to a wall then David Ramos said he would take care of situation no call back. My roof started leaking and nothing has been done. Just over all would not recommend at all. Both Voltaic and Titanium
they'll waste your time and forget essential parts to properly install your system.
These people showed up in my driveway while my husband was detailing our car. They initially didn't know we already have solar, and were surprised when he said we did. Then they claimed to work with the same company we are actually with. They wanted to sit down right then and go over our situation and show us what they could offer. Well ... my husband was detailing the car! so finally they agreed to come back the next day.
next day they show up wearing a horrific amount of perfume and or cologne. I have a high sensitivity to fragrances. I was only able to stay in the room for about 5 minutes.
meanwhile I had already said that I wasn't interested in hearing any more and wasn't interested in any 25 year contract. This is when they got really pushy. Insisting that I needed to let them tell my why I couldn't go without my system being complete. I told him again that I am not interested, and went outside so I could breathe.
Later I went back inside but not to the same room. I could hear the conversation and heard my husband say on several occasions that he needed to think about it and do some more research before making a decision. They wouldn't leave! Then they said ""you aren't happy with what you have"" and ""why did you want to look at adding more solar"". That's when I returned to the room and reminded them that we didn't come to them. They showed up in our driveway. We asked nicely for more time to think it over and that they needed to leave. At this point I'm barely breathing, my heart rate was 140 and I really needed the perfume out of the house so I told them the cologne/perfume was killing me and that I cant expletive breathe, please leave now. They did finally leave, but it took another minute!
Pushy is one thing when you are trying to sell something. But when a potential client asks you to let them have time to discuss things, you really need to just let it go. If they had said thank you for your time when i said no think you in the first 5 minutes it would have saved everyone a lot of time.
Since I don't actually pay our bill, my husband does, I intended to let him decide. If they had let him take time to discuss things with me, I would have told him that if he thinks it's a good deal I was fine with it. But since they wouldn't give him time, we will definitely NOT consider using their service.
Voltaic is not a reputable company. This is a scam. Came to my door stated that they were working in conjunction with DWP and requested my DWP bill. I postponed that but unfortunately made an appointment with them for another day. When I realized they did not represent DWP, I called and cancelled the appointment but they showed up anyway on the scheduled day. I called company again and told them I would call police if they returned. In addition they were not wearing masks. I don't usually report grievances on Yelp but this one was particularly egregious.
The guys from Sunergy Construction Inc installed our panels today. Doug, Kevin and Ronnie put up 26 panels. They communicated well, cleaned up and did an overall awesome job. They were punctual, friendly and worked hard for the entire time they were here. Thank you David Ramos for leading the project!
Sales rep came to my door saying he need to see if my meter has been upgraded to digital. What!? So let me get this straight, I'm supposed to let a guy I don't know, who doesn't work for the city at the height of the coronavirus pandemic into my yard. Negative!
After denying him access, he started in with the sales pitch. I don't appreciate this sneaky sales tactic. Very deceitfully!
And what the heck is a salesman doing going door to door at this current time? Spreading Covid?
