At Vintage Roof Tile, we focus on buying and selling distinctive and hard-to-find clay and concrete roof tiles. Our inventory includes one of the biggest ""BoneYards"" in the state.
Vintage Roof Tile launched in Rio Linda on January 9, 2014, during a challenging period for the company. The day prior, an arsonist destroyed our main warehouse in San Jose, resulting in a loss of over 2 million dollars in inventory. As a family-operated company, we resolved to continue with our expansion efforts. With more than 45 years in the roofing sector, Dave, the owner of our San Jose location, has largely worked as an independent contractor and business owner. In the early 2000s, he noticed a growing need for discontinued roof tiles and redirected his efforts from roofing to salvaging, reclaiming, and repurposing vintage tiles. Though we have faced various challenges, we are still thriving today. We take pride in serving our community and strive to meet all our customers' needs while upholding our integrity. John has been involved in his father's business since he could hold a hammer and climb a ladder. He experienced many adventures on the roof but chose to forge his own path in his twenties and returned to school to become a registered nurse. After a few exhilarating years in the emergency room, he recognized the need for change and entered recovery, reflecting on his priorities and life direction. At the same time, his father, Dave, found himself overwhelmed with business in the Sacramento area and enlisted his son for some local jobs. What began as a simple favor for his dad quickly grew, and John has since built an impressive collection of vintage roof tiles, often driving his wife crazy by admiring roofs in his daily life! John is a man of integrity and takes pride in delivering excellence in everything he undertakes. In both family and business, you can rely on him to keep his word and go above and beyond to assist others.
