Vintage Roof Tile specializes in acquiring and distributing unique and discontinued clay and concrete roof tiles. We have one of the most extensive ""BoneYards"" in California.
On January 9, 2014, Vintage Roof Tile began operations in Rio Linda amidst significant challenges. The day before, our main warehouse in San Jose was burned down by an arsonist, leading to a loss exceeding 2 million dollars in inventory. As a family-owned and operated business, we chose to persevere with our expansion plans. Dave, who owns the San Jose branch, brings over 45 years of roofing experience, primarily as an independent contractor and business owner. In 2000, he saw that many customers needed discontinued roof tiles and transitioned from roofing to salvaging, reclaiming, and repurposing vintage tiles. The business has certainly faced challenges, but we remain resilient today. We are proud to serve our community and work hard to fulfill our customers' needs while preserving our integrity. John has been part of his father's business since he was old enough to wield a hammer and ascend a ladder. Having had numerous adventures on the roof, he opted to carve his own path in his twenties and returned to school to become an RN. After a few exhilarating years in the emergency room, he recognized the need for change and entered recovery, reflecting on his priorities and life direction. Meanwhile, his father, Dave, was busy with more work in the Sacramento area than he could handle and called on his son for help with local jobs. What started as a small favor for his father spiraled into a passion, and John has now gathered a remarkable collection of vintage roof tiles, often driving his wife mad by admiring roofs wherever he goes! With a strong sense of integrity, John prides himself on achieving excellence in all his endeavors. Whether in family or business, you can count on him to be a man of his word and go the extra mile to help others.

He loaded up the product, then I went in and the gal at the counter rang me up. In and out within 10 minutes or so. Excellent customer service from both patrons! Bob G.I live in Reno, Nevada. We own a house in Caughlin Ranch built in 1997. The roof was constructed with MONIER Tan 'Slate' Concrete tiles. Over the years, several of these tiles had cracked. I searched and searched all over Reno and surrounding areas with no luck in finding the MONIER tiles from 1997.
Then I found VINTAGE ROOF TILE in Rio Linda, California. After several pictures sent back and forth, I discovered that VINTAGE ROOF TILE had the exact MONIER tiles that I needed.
I traveled down to Rio Linda...and discovered the tiles were indeed a perfect color match...everything perfect. I purchased 50 tiles...brought them all back to Reno, and expect them to be replaced perfectly in the next few days.
The people at VINTAGE are excellent and the prices are lower than I expected for older tiles...this company saved the day for me and my 19 year old MONIER Tiled roof!
Plan to go back to VINTAGE TILE in the next few months and get more tiles to have in the future.
