Spectacular work. Just completed our roof, which ended up being a complicated job because of shoddy work done in the past. Jacobo and team's attention to detail is amazing. They added functional solutions (venting, rain channels) that would have slipped our minds. We felt that they treated our house as they would their own. Cleaned up every day. Nothing was overlooked. Can only give them our highest recommendation.

Jacob Villa and his crew are just terrific. We have an older Mexican tile roof which needed a complete re-do - remove the tiles, pull up the old underlayment, repair or the wood sub-roof. And we were hoping to add insulation. We approached several roofers. But Jacob was the guy most interested in this challenging job. (One roofer never even called back after he saw the extent of the work!) Jacob's estimate was not the lowest but we had the most confidence in his work. He and the crew arrived daily in a timely manner. They cleaned up at the end of the day. When conditions were discovered that required a change, Jacob was unflappable. We could not be more pleased with the job that Jacob Villa's Roofing Company did for us. We recommend him to all with no reservations!

On January 22nd , during the great wind storm, our neighbors 50 plus foot oak tree came crashing down.
Its large, heavy branches damaged our neighbors home and also hit the corner of our buildings roof.
We called our insurance and then we called Villa's Roofing Company.
Jacobo was able to come out on Monday and assessed the damage and give us a fair estimate to do the repairs. We accepted his cost to do the work and
last Saturday, with the tree removed, Villa's crew was able to repair our roof in record time. We are extremely happy with the job he did and his prompt responses to all our questions.

We knew the reroof of our 1854 landmark house would present challenges so sought out six estimates. We went with Villa's Roofing because we were most impressed by Jacobo Villa's intelligence, understanding of potential pitfalls, and confidence in taking on a challenging job. That and the strong recommendation from our very particular friend and SFO airport architect, Sam.
Hurdles there were! Jacobo stepped up and worked through ever single one beautifully. I suspect many contractors would have dodged responsibility or asked for a lot more money.
-Permit delayed due to Berkeley Landmark Commission sitting on it. -Non-standard rafter sizes and spacing presenting installation challenges.
-1850 era nails securing rafters together with no ridge beam requiring reinforcement - not secure enough in earthquake country.
-Insulation sub-contractor (I chose) bowed out one night prior to install. -Previous sheetrock taping had big gaps requiring closing before insulation was sprayed in.
We ended up with a fabulous strong roof with every single detail attended to. The crew were delightful and kept our place very clean throughout. Yep! We keep congratulating ourselves for making a terrific choice.

They did a new roof for us (800 sqf). Excellent communication, timing and responsiveness. I called them to check on the roof after our first rain and Jacobo came over two hours later. After thanking him for such a fast response he said, ""What do you mean? This is my job and I am happy to make sure it is done right."" I will be using them again as the need arises

Villa's Roofing Company did a tile roof repair, I have a 45 year old fabrication and construction company and my customers have high expectations too.
my project was 2nd floor, obsolete tiles , some eve repairs , and reset ridge tiles with matching grout, painted new vents to match roof , worked safely and left the job site clean daily.
They also took the time to purchase some extra material to repair eve.
Needless to say very impressed.

Jacobo is your man if you need your roof repaired. I have used him twice and I'm very satisfied. I have a very steep roof and had a few shingles fall off during a wind storm. Jacobo is very knowledgeable and professional. I definitely recommend him.
