i would give zero stars if i could. I worked with Vidal last summer. The project was supposed to take 6 weeks and took 12. The workers were nice but they were constantly lying about the reason behind delays, used unlicensed plumbers putting my home at risk, and ultimately the work is extremely subpar in quality. Less than 6 months after the work, multiple kitchen cabinets fall fallen off, paint is chipping, and they are very slow to answer questions despite warranty.

I would never, ever, ever use Budal Construction again even if i had a 90% discount.

He was awesome in every way, always making sure he communicated with the homeowner and myself to make sure there was no misunderstanding. She was on limited funds and needed more work. Vidal was recommended to my wife and I by USAA after a plumbing leak. We needed to have new drywall put up in the kitchen and the ceiling. After the initial visit, it was a month before they came out to start the work. Upon arrival, there were 4 or 5 guys to show up, only for 1 of them to stick around and do the work. In the beginning we were told it would take two days. I believe the work was started on a Tuesday. After the second day, they kept adding a day to the work. That weekend, the project manager came to do a walk through. I pointed out some areas that needed more attention. He told me he'd communicate that with the guy doing the work. I showed him areas where you could see through the thin layer of paint they applied. He told me insurance allows them one coat of paint, but if we wanted another coat to let them know and they would come back out to apply another one. I also asked if there would be anyone else to come out and help with the job considering we were already at four days. He said nobody else would be coming, that the guy on the job could handle it. When I got home that next Monday, the guy had finished and left. I was not at all impressed with work he'd done. The Sheetrock that was installed in the ceiling was blotchy and sloppy where the wall and the ceiling met, and did not look like it was done by a professional. The cleanup was very minimal on their end, so I had to come home and wipe down everything in the kitchen every day until they were done. Also, there were cigarette butts left all over the yard. I told them I was ok to sign off on the job because I didn't want them to come back, I just wanted them out of there. I would highly recommend continuing to looking for another contractor besides Vidal.

Joey came by to introduce himself as he was working on our neighbor's roof. He noticed some storm damage on ours and it turned out that we needed a full roof replacement. Joey was a pleasure to work with throughout the process, and his team did top-notch work on our roof. He was very easy to work with, and you definitely knew you were in good hands and that he was working with you in a professional and ethical manner. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for roofing or general contracting needs, and will be reaching back out to them in the future for any potential jobs.

Our house had a pipe burst during the winter storm in February 2021. Vidal Construction was sent to our house by USAA to do an estimate on the cost of repairs. For context we had a 1/2 pipe wide open pouring water into the ceiling between the upstairs and downstairs for 10 minutes which is about 500 gallons of water in my ceiling that went down into my walls and into my wood floors and into my kitchen cabinets. The ""adjuster"" from Vidal came into my home and told us all about how he owned a food truck that sold tacos last year. He also told us about how they don't have enough skilled labor to actually do the work. He said that they were going around trying to hire anyone they could to do all this work from the winter storm. Not surprisingly the estimate that the taco truck guy gave to USAA was criminally negligent- less than 10% of the actual cost to repair my house- according to over 10 different experts we have spoken with since. The taco truck adjuster told us that he could easily match the 35 year old oak hardwood flooring in my living room and dining room. When we questioned him about how to do that he said that they would refinish the existing floors and make it all match. He did not include refinishing the floors in his ridiculously low repair quote. I have talked to multiple different flooring experts and all of them actually laughed out loud at the suggestion of matching the 35 year old existing oak hardwoods. He did not even notice that multiple cabinets were damaged with warped wood. Several of my cabinets are not usable because of the warping. One drawer in my kitchen does not even go into the cabinet now. I have now spoken to 6 different cabinet companies and carpenters and NONE of them agree with fixing the cabinets. All 6 cabinet specialists have said that it's not possible to match 35 year old custom cabinets and agree that the cabinets all need to be replaced. I am currently in a battle with USAA to have them pay to fix my house because of the incompetence- at best- of this ""contractor."" NEVER LET THESE PEOPLE INTO YOUR HOME.

Joey and his crew were great. We had been having some minor problems with our roof that Joey noticed right away just looking at our roof from the street. He showed a lot of concern and sincerely wanted to help us. My husband is a disabled veteran so it was nice having somebody really take the time to talk with us. He showed a lot of compassion and really wanted to help. He had his crew complete the repairs and we had no issues. Very reasonably priced also. I highly recommend this company. I think they are top notch.

We were so impressed by the constant customer service, updates on our project before, during, and after the work started. They have also exceeded our expectations with their craftsmanship and we're very pleased with the results. I'm so happy we finally have a good ""go-to"" contractor. We will definitely be using their services again!

Outstanding family run business that delivers everything they promise. They replaced our entire roof in less than 2 days. Joey communicated with us during the entire process and personally walked the yard and driveway himself to clear out the nails. Great great company to work with for replacing our roof. Joey helped us through the whole process and everything was seamless. They replaced our whole roof in one day, for a 3,600sf house. The whole process was extremely stress free even with having solar panels and working around that process. You will not be disappointed.
