Born in Madrid, Spain, in 1972, Ruben is the son of parents who sought refuge from communist Cuba. They relocated to Tampa in 1980 to chase the American Dream. Ruben attended Tampa Catholic High School before enlisting in the United States Air Force in 1991. During his service, he was stationed in Alaska and traveled globally on various deployments.
Upon his Honorable discharge, he began a 17-year journey in the banking industry. He serves on the board of the Cuban Club and is an active participant in Krewe of Sant' Yago. He resides in the community with his wife and two children. Ruben launched Veterans National Property Services in 2014, serving as Principal and President, and is recognized as a Service Disabled, Veteran Owned, Small Business (SDOVSB).

Diana M.I would happily give Veterans National Property Services a 10 out of 10 for the job they did replacing my roof in August 2021. They kept me well informed along the way when there were delays and when they were coming to do the job. They were here early in the morning both days and worked long days to get the job done....the last day the workers were up on the roof finishing the job after dark because rain was predicted the next day! They cleaned up after themselves each day and arrived early the next day. The new roof is beautiful and I'm very pleased with the job they did. Their price was very fair and I feel like I got good value for my money. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a roofing job!
