In 1972, Ruben entered the world in Madrid, Spain, as the child of parents who fled from communist Cuba. In 1980, they migrated to Tampa, seeking the opportunities of the American Dream. Ruben attended Tampa Catholic High School before enlisting in the United States Air Force in 1991. He spent time stationed in Alaska and traveled internationally during several deployments.
Following his Honorable discharge, Ruben started a 17-year career in the banking sector. He is involved with the Cuban Club as a board member and takes part in Krewe of Sant' Yago. He resides in the community with his wife and two children. In 2014, he established Veterans National Property Services, taking on the roles of Principal and President, and is acknowledged as a Service Disabled, Veteran Owned, Small Business (SDOVSB).

Diana M.I would happily give Veterans National Property Services a 10 out of 10 for the job they did replacing my roof in August 2021. They kept me well informed along the way when there were delays and when they were coming to do the job. They were here early in the morning both days and worked long days to get the job done....the last day the workers were up on the roof finishing the job after dark because rain was predicted the next day! They cleaned up after themselves each day and arrived early the next day. The new roof is beautiful and I'm very pleased with the job they did. Their price was very fair and I feel like I got good value for my money. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a roofing job!
