After several quotes and issues with different roofing companies I can say Veritas roofers is the most reliable, honest and efficient roofing company I encountered.

Jim demonstrated to be knowledgeable and experienced on the process. I cannot thank them enough and would recommend them without hesitation.

6 months after our re-roof project started, most of the defects of the original installation have finally been remedied. This only happened after filing a complaint with BBB and with the county building office. The incorrectly installed/leaking roof valley was redone, many of the damaged shingles were replaced, and the bent molding just over our front door has been replaced. We had to replace the unprofessional caulk work ourselves, and we ended up spending over $500 out of pocket to repair the ceilings damaged from the leaks mentioned previously. To cap off this nightmare project, Veritas' final product still isn't great as it now has a patch area in front of our home with mis-matched shingles. According to the company owner, most people wouldn't notice it, but the fact is, this is a new roof, and it shouldn't have visible patch areas.

Overall, it was way too difficult and time consuming to get this roof done (almost) correctly, and now we're left with a reminder of the poor workmanship in the mismatched shingles in front of our house.

We had problems from the start. We were in a rush because we needed the roof replaced for a loan. When I was told they had the deposit and would in 6 to 8 weeks to complete I called and was asked why I thought I was special. They did go back and notice schedule was in the contract. They delayed getting the permit, which caused me to drop everything I was doing to get it notarized and sent in.

When they arrived, it was 2 days before needing to be completed, The job was completed late, causing extra expense for the loan.

Om the first day they left the gate open, allowing my dogs to run, after several hours of stress, I did get the dogs back. I asked them to make certain the gate was closed when they went through, they did not.

Not once did they let me know that they were done for the night, nor when they were complete, Communication was extremely poor and rude. Thw cost was 50% higher than the estimate.

All I can say is wow! Veritas went above and beyond. We hired them to do our roof. Communication is excellent, the crew came in and in 2 days had our roof completed. They were sure to cover everything, they worked 11 hours with one meal break! They showed up at 7am each morning and did not mess around! Day two, no different. They did a superb job. They cleaned up.the property like the professionals that they are. If I had a question for Jim or his staff, they were right there to answer me. I can not say enough good about their work and customer service.

The roofer came out to check my chimney. He saw the duck tape on the vent of the cap and said, you need a new cap. I said, if you take the tape off the cap rain will came in and leak through the galvanize tube and to the ceiling below. Then he yelled at me saying, are you challenging me, I've been in the business for 25 years. I started to say, I sure fooled me.

In my observation, he has what I have which is bipolar behavior, with the exception I take gabapentin medicine to stabilize mine. I was very offended when he yelled at me. After all, he was on my roof and I was his customer. Apparently he has job security.

Requested a quote from them for skylights. They spent less than 5 mins in my home. They never explained the size, shape, glass, or look to the skylights.

A week later I chased them for the quote as they never sent it. I received a quote with no details on the skylights just the cost.

I spoke to the Lisa about this and she said Jim would call me back and explain everything. Jim ended up texting me ""Kennedy SFG. 2246 model"" which I found very unprofessional and vague for someone trying to win over my business.

Not only were they inefficient and lacked communication but they misgendered me several times during our conversations (I have a unisex name).

I want to thank Jim, Lisa and the crew at Veritas. They were professional and helpful all the way. The work was done as it ought to be done. It looks great. I get compliments from friends on how nice the roof looks. AND the inspector gave a big thumbs up and said it was a great job, very clean... and on from there. You can't go wrong.

Made an appointment for a quote. The did not show up when expected. A couple days later they sent me a quote... so someone was on my roof when I wasn't there!?!?
And the quote was very high. Never used them, so this review does not comment on how their roofing work is.

I thought I needed to replace my roof because everyone around me were having their roofs replaced. I had several company's come out and give me quotes. One attempted to tell me that I had hail damage and could file a claim for me and another stated that I needed to replace my entire sunroof for an additional charge. Jim came out and spent time on the roof and gave me an honest assessment. He stated that the roof still had about 7 years left on it. Instead of a replacement, he recommended repairing the damaged lead boots and securing the ridge vent. He also recommended soft washing the roof to prolong the life. I asked him about the hail damage on the roof and he told me that he didn't see any. Thank you JIm for being so upfront and honest about the condition of my roof!
