Scupper caused leak on my 2nd floor and first floor it followed the studs. Originally Darrell the owner agreed to pay for replacement, labor and material for the damages...going on a month no payment and I'm sleeping in my living room cause the company I brought in to demo and repair want to get an advance and Darrell won't pay. Don't recommend and stay away from this company!

My parents needed a new roof and fence after hurricane Harvey. After nearly getting gouged by unknown mystery roofers, I contacted Vela Roofing, along with other roofers in the area, for quotes. Mr. Darrell Vela was the only roofer on time (actually early) for his appointment. He patiently and knowledgeably explained the job and choices to my parents. He also kept me in the loop the entire time. Darrell promptly provided a complete quote for all work (again, the only one) along with 3 references. His references were quick to respond and obviously were all positive. What I really liked about the references was that one was an out of state home owner, one was a home owner whose older roof survived Harvey just fine, and one was an owner whose new roof was just completed.

Mr. Vela's prices were very competitive and his crew was available right away. We hired them.

During the process, Mr. Vela and his crew worked efficiently each day to get the work done. They were on time and even sent me pictures of their progress (coming soon). My dad offered Mr. Vela and his crew waters and use of the restroom - which they refused - preferring instead to bring their own refreshments and use facilities down the street.

Upon completion of the job, Mr. Vela continued to work with my dad by supplying building code(s) and other necessary documentation for the insurance claim.

Basically, the Velas are awesome. Hire them with confidence.
