I've had 3 roof leaks over the last few years. I was fortunate enough to include Van Lund roofing in the several roofers I called for an estimate. I was impressed that James Van Lund was very knowledgeable and professional. His estimate was not only reasonable, but very detailed as to what exactly would be done, what was included and not included, and some possible issues that if discovered would be extra.

Since that first time, I've had 2 other leaks in different areas of the roof, the last time being in January. James responded the same week I called him, just as soon as the rain had stopped and he was able to have a crew come out before the next storm arrived and made the repair.

I have been very satisfied with Van Lund Roofing and highly recommend him.

I don't write reviews very often, but Van Lund Roofing deserves all the 5 stars! Not only is owner James Van Lund extremely knowledgeable, his demeanor and professionalism is spot on. His Crew is clean, respectful, and punctual. Prior to my roof being replaced, I had a roof leak on Christmas Eve. James came to my house right away to assess the issue. Once we determined the problem, he gave me a very reasonable quote that beat other competitors in the area. James recommended product that was made locally where I could go physically see and touch my tiles. His Crew discussed additional damage they found before removing any boards etc., and James kept me 100% involved with any issues or new developments they found. I appreciated that so much because many other contractors would have done the work and invoiced me for it later. Over a year later, I experienced an unrelated issue with my chimney. James came immediately to see what was going on and had someone back within a day to make the repair. He always makes himself available to respond to a text or a quick phone call.

James and Van Lund Roofing is a company you can trust. I had a pervious leak repaired by Van Lund Roofing, but I recently had solar installed. With the recent weekend rain, a small leak near the same spot that was repaired, started to leak. I wasn't sure if the leak was caused by the solar installation crew.
I contacted my solar installer, and they assured me the leak was not caused by Solar installation team. I called Van Lund Roofing and explained to him my leak. Without any questions, James scheduled an appointment and assured me if the repair was not done correctly, he would resolve the issue.

James truly cares about his work and his customers. He's very professional and honest. It's rare to come across an honest contractor. Once James arrived on site, he located and examine the source of the leak. The leak was caused by a broken title under my solar panel. James took photos of the cracked roof Title and showed me where the solar installer tried to glue the two broken roof title together using a silicone adhesive.

With the shared photos taken form James roof inspection, I was able to resolve my issue with the solar installer.

Had a great experience with this company. Over the last rain we encountered, my parents home has a few small leaks for which we needed to have repaired and fixed. They were on top of things from the beginning. Priced very well and very professional. I would highly recommend this company for anyone who finds themselves in the same situation.

Used Van Lund for full roof replacement on my house. Showed up on time to look at project and give me a quote. Returned quote in a few days. Whole crew showed up on day job was to start and finished same day. Cleaned up around my property when done. Had a small issue that they came back on a few weeks later and fixed right away. Worked well with my insurance and got all city permits. Fair prices. I'd use Van Lund again or recommend them to anyone.
