We got 5 via on an apartment building roof. Walter's bid was over 3 times more than the other 4 bids.
To say the least we hired someone else. Walter came to look at one of the apartments that was for rent. This was right after we informed him he didn't get the job.
He looked around, never even took an application. Then we get notified from Fair employment and housing that he's suing the owner. States she refused to rent to him.. TOTALLY FALSE. So beware if he buys a job for you. It's pu lic record look it up. Oh and he's got himself some lawyer Credentials. I'm assuming this wasn't the first time.

I been working with the owner Walter for Many years now and he is a man of integrity, always calls me back if he can't pick up, always delivers and solves my gutters and roofing needs. He has great aptitude for his profession I highly recommend him he's worth the wait if there is any.

The owner, Walter Wood, left me with a lasting impression. He came out to my residence in the late afternoon to give me an estimate for reconfiguring a couple of downspout locations. In the amount of time & energy it would have taken to prepare this estimate, he solved my problems by actually fixing them as we spoke. In less than one hour he was done. AND he didn't even want to charge me. Walter is very friendly, professional, efficient & a hands on problem solver. I will be calling him back for any gutter/roof projects in the future.

Walter and his crew are first rate all the way around. as an ""Owner Builder"" I gathered 4 bids for a 'standing seam"" metal roof. I was looking not only for price and professionalism but also for that ""gut feel"". Fortunately, I lucked out with Value added. Not only was Walter punctual and responsive but the fnished product turned out beautifully

I would not hesitate to use Value Added again or to refer them to anyone in the market for a metal roof and/or sheet metal work. (ie, downspouts/gutters/flashing)

It was a pleasure to deal with this company. I purchased a Groupon and called Walter. He answered quickly, we set up an appt, he arrived on time with full equipment and did a spectacular job on the roof. He even pruned back some overhanging trees that were in the way of the gutters. His comment: ""well, I'm here with the equipment, so I may as well do it"". I rarely encounter service of this quality these days and I will absolutely use Value Added Building again, and would recommend to anyone.

I purchased a Groupon for their Gutter Cleaning service and could not get anyone to provide an approximate day and time where they would come out, and the owner had very poor follow through and customer service on numerous occasions. I can't speak to the quality of his work because I can't seem to get him to come out to do the work I've paid for! I don't recommend purchasing his Groupon and I would think twice about working with this company given my negative experience. At this point, it's more like ""NO Value Added Building"".
