I did the usual get three bids routine and I'm so happy that Valley was one of them. The low bid was too good to be true and came on a loose leaf piece of paper without any detail. The high bid was delivered indifferently and contained a lot of exclusions with absolutely no follow up. The middle bid was delivered by Raymond and came with much TLC. I'm an engineer and had lots of questions and concerns about roofing my historic home with a flat roof. Getting rid of the leaks and providing insulation were of course primary concerns. But properly removing and restoring the thicket of AC ducting, solar panel and electrical conduit, a gas line, restoring an old rooftop observation deck, and improving drainage was very much on my mind. Raymond gave me tips on the deck and gas line so that I could have that work done by my handyman beforehand. Valley showed up promptly on the day scheduled and did a beautiful job! They removed ducting, elevated conduit, wrapped the edges with brand new flashing, and sprayed a consistent even coat of foam. Then they put back the ducting and sprayed it. Finally they sprayed on the white elastomeric sealer. As luck would have it, it started raining the next day and rained for a week. No leaks and nice and cozy inside. We noticed a couple places where pooling was occurring and Ray came back and evened that out after the rain. There was also some overspray on the patio roof which looked tacky from the back yard so he foamed the entire patio roof as well! We have a unique interior stairway to the roof top deck and it is now such a pleasure to go up there and enjoy the sunset!

They say if you want something you have to pick between ""Good, Fast, and Cheap"". Valley Urethane and Ray the owner make that old saying a complete lie. After getting the brush off from one roofer and a completely absurd bid 10K over Ray's bid, I went with Ray. It really wasn't a hard decision because Ray is as straightforward as they come. He's reasonably priced, patient in answering any questions and the job was literally started and done before I even realized it had started. ( okay, I'll admit a phone call would have prob been good, but I didn't care cause of the quality of the work) . You are not gonna get better than Ray. trust me.

I just had Raymond and his crew do a 4,000 sq ft foam roof job on my home in Rancho Mirage. Raymond was very straightforward, made insulating properties recommendations (which I went with). His crew was professional and they got the job completed in about 2 days. I have a flat-roof home which only had sheet EPDM (rubber sheet roofing), so I wanted additional heat transfer insulating properties to avoid having to do solar, as I'm not sold on solar yet. He got the city permit, met with inspector, oversees his work. Afterwards he sent me detailed photos of all the roof sections (my house has different roof/ceiling heights). Valley's price was about mid-pack, so that made me feel comfortable. The key to a successful job is calculating the thickness of Urethan foam you need to establish the R-factor of insulation to meet your goals. Raymond will help you with that. I give this company five stars.

He answers emails and phone calls promptly too. My business is property management and it's hard to find a good, honest roofer - I've been through a few of them. In December of 2016 I contacted three of the top-Yelp-rated roofers in the Coachella Valley to re-foam my flat roof. One did not call back despite a number of calls made, the second spent his time disparaging his competitors rather than sharing the value of his company (and - claiming industry expertise - quoted me a rate $3K more than Ray *without* climbing on my roof to inspect). And then there was Ray. Ray was responsive, respectful, patient, and informative. His team was on time and efficient. They not only cleaned my patio of debris, they cleaned my next door neighbor's, just in case. At the end of the process they waited patiently while I climbed my ladder to perform a review. As a result: Last winter my roof was solid, and it's still in great condition - I look forward to another dry winter! Rock on, Ray.

I called Valley Urethane based on the reviews here on Yelp. To quote another review, ""Ray was great from the beginning of the process through to the end."" Finished early, great, work, simply a pleasure to work with. Valley Urethane was not the cheapest estimate I received. I asked for three estimates and his was right smack in the middle. I accepted his bid because he REALLY knew what he was talking about and the other bid felt too good to be true. I am so happy I went with Valley Urethane. I could not recommend them more highly.

Ray was great from the beginning of the process through to the end. I had gotten several estimates for our foam roof (it needed a total new roof, not just repair.). His pricing was fair, he did the job in the timeframe we discussed and more importantly he handled a few issues that popped up immediately and to great satisfaction. He took care to make sure the job was done completely with no unresolved mistakes. It feels uncommon these days to find an owner that stays so close to his jobs and makes sure each customer is taken care of. I think Ray and his team (Manuel), did an excellent job and they would be my first recommendation to anyone looking to get repair or replacement of their foam roof.
