We contacted Valley roofing for a complete re-roof with new gutters. Our roof was leaking in multiple spots as we were approaching winter, so it was relatively urgent. The quote we were given was fair and on the lower end compared to other companies we contacted. They were able to start within a month, which was critical for us at the time.

Demolition was scheduled to start on a Monday, but rain was in the forecast so we got delayed. The crew ended up demoing on Thursday and installing the whole roof on Friday - a 2 day turnaround for an entirely new roof with gutters, including inspections. I'm assuming this isn't their routine schedule, but they made it work for us to avoid the rain. The quality of the install was top notch, we've had no issues so far.

We had an overall great experience with Valley and would highly recommend them for re-roofs.

I contacted Sean when our home needed a roof. Sean is friendly and was helpful in explaining all the various products available to help reduce our heating & cooling costs. Sean's bid for new roofing was fair and he was very prompt in providing sample boards and other local addresses so that we could make an informed decision on color selection.

Valley Roofing is very busy, and there's a reason. They are good to work with (we worked with Sean on our re-roof), fair in pricing, and do quality work. Sean knew the materials well, and even was familiar with our association's requirements (El Macero). When I wanted to see the color on a roof, they gave me a few addresses to drive by to see it installed. The only down side is how busy they are, but if you can wait, it's worth it. As a Realtor, I always recommend them first.

Valley Roofing put a new roof on our home one year ago, and we were very pleased with their workmanship. Everyone on the job showed up on time and with a great attitude on getting the work done. The design review board required more paperwork than is normal, and they accommodated all of the requests. The roof looks beautiful, and they did a great job cleaning up when they were finished.
It is now a year later, and I noticed a small leak inside the house coming from the roof so I called to make an appointment. They responded immediately and came the very next day. The leak had nothing to do with their work -- it was caused by a damaged window, but they went above and beyond by sealing the window off for us to minimize the problem until we can replace the windows.

Valley Roofing did a great job on a small repair on the home we just bought. They went out of their way to call me (same morning that I left a message) after the job was done to talk about solar panels on our roof. Professional, quality work. We highly recommend, and would work with them again, for sure.

I can't rate the quality of their work because I can't even get them to take a job. When we moved in 2013 we knew the roof had a few tiles that needed replacing and our real estate agent recommended Valley Roofing. I called and was told that unless I was a preexisting client they didn't have time for any small jobs because the rainy season was coming. That was more than a little off-putting but I have since discovered many contractors and others in the area make it a practice to refuse small jobs, failing to understand that if you rock my ""small job"" you'll get my business when I have a big job.
We had several other home projects that took precedence and the roof was put on the back burner. Now we have the time and means to revisit this. I called Valley Roofing a week ago and left a message. They never returned my call.
Even if they are the best roofers in Woodland I'll take a pass based on horrid (or no) customer service.
