Scheduled a meeting and VA was a no-show. They didn't call in advance to cancel. Didn't call afterwards to reschedule. Didn't email. Nothing. Just went blank. Negative one star.

This Guy Vince was spot on, responded to my Yelp request, was at my house the next morning gave me a fair price on what I needed done.
I didn't even have to get another estimate, was a fair price for the work that needed done.
Next day was on time with a crew that did a a very nice and clean job, very professional.
I would recommend him to anyone that would need roof service, very personable and explained the scope of work prior to the job being done.
Hard to find this kind of good service these days but he is on point.
Very happy with the service provided, he is the guy if you need the job done.

Response to Vince: Give me a break. Seriously? So you ghost your clients and then come up with ridiculous reasons why you didn't want to waste your time on my entire roof re-roofing. You weren't coming to do any work, you were coming to see if the leaking was due to the repair you made a year earlier that you offered us a guarantee on for 2 years. You were on your way to another job so don't pretend I did something wrong by not having you do an entire re-roof that morning with no estimate given or anything? As if! I'm so very glad we did not go with you! You and I both know what was said and you are lying so that the 1 star review doesn't reflect as badly on you. What I said was we were wanting to get it fixed asap and to come in with a competitive bid as we were getting another quote from a second roofing company and wanted to go with you. In addition it has been a bad year financially for a ton of people, thanks for caring and thanks for making it so clear to your customers that if they are looking to get a couple of estimates to be sure your pricing is fair you won't even bother with sending them a quote. That's insane when you are talking about a 15K job. And you know what Vince....all you had to do is respond back to one of the tons of texts sent saying I'm too busy and don't want your job. You will see other reviews say you ghosted them as well....if you are going to have a business then have the respect to respond to your customers. That is all. Luckily for us we have now found a roofer that actually wants the job and responds back to us and is less than your high end quote so this whole thing ended up in our favor!

We had Vince out for a roof repair a year ago and at the time he was responsive and though he was the highest quote of the 3 that we got, we went with him as he was nice and seemed to really know his stuff. Fast forward a year and we had more leaking and asked him back to see if the repair they did was the issue or if it was something new. He said we needed a full roof repair, all new paper to be put on our tile roof and gave rough pricing and promised an estimate to be sent in a couple of days. No quote was sent and after weeks of phone messages and text messages trying to get the estimate sent and to get on the calendar for repair, he just ghosted us for no reason. Vince stopped responding, never sent the quote and we ended up giving up. We told him in our communications we were ready to move forward and based on the rough pricing he gave were going to do the full paper replacement at 12k-15k, but no response. It's incredibly unprofessional to not respond back to voicemails or text messages when you have promised an estimate and we were good to go forward with the pricing he gave to get the roof fixed and all the paper replaced. Him ghosting us for no reason set us way back as far as getting our roof redone. We are still in the process of figuring out another roofer and are set months back in those roofers time lines based on Vince ignoring our messages over the course of a few weeks time. People get busy, sick, whatever, but when you are running a business this is just really really unprofessional to not have the curtesy to provide the quote promised or respond to multiple attempts to communicate. Based on this unreliability I would not recommend!

Vince call me back within the hour of requesting a quote through yelp. He came out the next day and gave me a very reasonable quote compared to the other quotes that I received. He was able to start my roofing repair the day after that. He found more issues with the plywood rotting and warping than initially thought and detail all of the issues and work with pictures. Yet the additional quote to address that issue was not far above his initial quote. I think he did a great job on my roof and is hard-working. If you want to support local Simi Valley businesses VA Roofing is a great choice.

Had a great experience with VA Roofing! They came right out to inspect the repairs to my Spanish style roof and explained with multiple photos of what was needed to repair each of the several different areas of damages. The same day as promised, they sent their itemized estimate explaining in detail what was going to be repaired & it was very reasonable. I hired them & set the appointment and they showed up for work ""on time"" a couple days later with the needed materials to complete the job and were done in a reasonable time. Vinces communication is very good, he is quick to respond to your needs, and he runs his company like a professional business! VA Roofing will take good & Honest care of all your roofing needs, give them a call.

**BEWARE OF THIS GUY**
I discovered a leak in my garage after the first major rain storm of the season. I was looking for a roofer to fix the issue but all the major companies were booked up. I first booked another company but Vince from VA Roofing said he could be at my house earlier. Well, similar to another reviewer, he rescheduled from the morning to the afternoon so I'm retrospect I wish I went with the other guy.

Not having much choice as the next big rainfall was in a few days, I agreed to have Vince fix the leaks even though his estimate was pretty outrageous ($1,350 to put mastic around the HVAC and chimney, clean leaves from the water run off, replace 7 tiles on the roof and epoxy glue a few more.)

I asked him a few times to go into the attic to see where the leak was and he did not want to and was adamant he knew where the leak was from looking at the roof. Well, after he did his work, the roof leaked again in the same spot during the next rain fall. He came back and slathered more mastic and again was adamant he fixed the problem. Not only did he not, but the leak seemed to get worse and a huge stock pot under the leak filled with water as a result.

I realized the only reason he came back the second time was because I hadn't paid him because I wanted to make sure the leak was fixed first. After the second visit, he made sure I paid him before he left, and when the leak continued the third time, he was nowhere to be found and did not respond to any of my contacts.

I'm not going to blame him for my bad decision to go with him. It was my choice so I'll own up to it and already have several other consults coming in the next few weeks to redo the job right and fix any mistakes he made. Lesson learned... get someone reputable even though it may take more time and effort. Now I'm out $1,350 and wasted my time and am back to square one. Thanks a lot Vince.

Vince at VA Roofing did an amazing job at fixing our leaky roof. We had a leak coming from our ventilation system in a flat roof section of our home. Vince and his team called me on Wednesday, inspected the roof the next morning, and had everything fixed by 3 pm on Thursday afternoon for a reasonable price. Plus, he did all of this with a smile! I highly recommend VA roofing for any of your roofing needs.

So very disappointed... We had already had an appointment to look at the roof And I had been expecting Vince to come out and lay tarps because the rain was coming, however he never showed up never called never texted just ghosted me. I'm sorry to have to leave this review but it's honest.

Edited with Additional Info: You were not here four times. We had two appts set up previously, one you couldn't make and one I couldn't make. Then we met. You were going to come back the following day with your handyman which you did not do. You did not come the other four days before the rain either. I called and left a message, and sent a text with no reply. I was very disappointed as I wanted to work with you.

Vince was able to come out a day before it was scheduled to rain to fix a skylight that was leaking, called around and no one was able to commit except Vince.

He arrived explained everything that needed to happen. He Facetimed me while he was up on the roof and showed me what the issue was and fixed it.

He was very professional, quick and did an excellent job. It's rained for about a week since and zero issues. I highly recommend him.

We connected with Vince here on Yelp and it was a fantastic experience. We had a leak in the roof to have addressed. He communicated quickly and clearly with me and showed up early with his crew the day he said he would which was the next day! I thought for sure I'd have to wait a week or so since it's been raining.

This visit was just for an estimate but he went ahead and offered to do it (and my neighbors!) repair right there on the spot in just 2 hours. Amazing. It rained shortly after their repair and there was no more leaky roof. This is the guy to work with for your leak or roof issues. Highly recommend.
