This company was contracted to replace windows. Paid $4800 a year ago, still no windows installed. Cannot get refund. Cannot reach a live person. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

TERRIBLE. I had a roof leak repaired by Universal but the problem remained. Same leak, same intensity during the next hard rain. I called and emailed their rep, Dylan (who was great) and he said the warranty folks would contact me. A few weeks, no contact. I called the receptionist (?), Emily, and explained the problem. She said Dylan was a salesman and they lie all the time. I told her I wasn't trying to make a warranty claim, if that was the issue, I wanted to schedule (and pay for) another repair. Again, no one called me back. This was repeated about five times over the next two months. I'd call, talk to Emily or Ebony (who was also useless), they'd promise that someone would call me, then nothing. Once, while talking to Ebony, I could hear Emily in the background saying ""Tell him I'm not here"". What a way to run a business. You'd be wise to look elsewhere for a roofer.

I couldn't have had a better experience. I had a leaky roof, and Archie came out, walked through the claims process with me, told me how much it would be, and made sure that the whole process was seamless. We had a great team do the roof--so many hard working guys! They were done with most of it in one day and by the end of the week everything from the trim paint to stucco touch ups were perfectly done. I can't say enough good things about the professionalism of everyone involved. Thanks so much!

This company has a severe lack of customer service and doesn't seem to care for their customers once their project is completed and paid for.
After paying over $55k for a new roof, new siding, 5 new windows, and rebuilding of our screened porch they held us hostage for an additional $7k threatening to put a lien on our home if we didn't pay! TOTAL BS!
So we had several pieces of siding ""pop off"". This was due to negligence on their part! We were able to put a few of them back in place ourselves but one was too high for us to reach.
They asked/wanted/demanded $1,200.00 to put up one piece of siding that came off. This is a 10-15 minute job for one to two workers!
So as of today they still have not come out to assist a once us with a very simplistic task, holding a $1,200.00 bill over our heads! Thanks for everything (sarcastically)!

I can say is look at the picture my bedroom ceiling is ruined. My attic is dripping water but no shingles missing and no response to a new roof

I hired this company over 4 months ago to put my roof on and paid the 1/3 down as requested and still waiting for a new roof. It is one excuse after another and terrible communication. I am at a loss now as what to do. My insurance has canceled over this and no one at this company cares. I have a new insurance company ready to write a policy but won't until the roof is installed. I have done everything required by me and still I wait.

They are Cheaper, lack of any customer service, and no communication. If the price is less, does not mean you getting Apples to Apples. I got raisins and a very frustrating time. I am ADA, which seemed to amuse office staff.

We had our second roof done by them , the other lasted 20 yrs . The company is to be trusted to get your roof done the right way, and stand behind it!

I had a flat roof installed by this company. i had listened to them on the radio and felt they seemed reputable. I had a railing on my roof which they removed prior to the istallation. I asked them about the replacement and they had ""forgotten"" about it until the day of installation. When I pointed this out to the foreman he had some members of the crew go to Home Depot and put the railing on.
Its 3 years later and i noticed rot on the railing. I was going to repair but it was beyond that. I called Universal and they had someone come out and I didn't hear back so I called again. I was given the runaround and never heard.
I finally got someone who said they had no record of the railing and thus were not responsible. I was told I would get a call from the president to work something out but never did. I called repeatedly for weeks and no response.
