Timothy Y.December of 2020 I hired Keith J Haynes to demo a water damaged floor, install a concrete slab, flooring and get a room ""ready to paint"". He was also contracted to put flashing around the outside sill plate to help prevent more water damage as well as install 60 feet worth of new drain to prevent the water. we also asked him to repair a small dry wall spot in the kitchen. This was all contracted and agreed for 8400$. To be fair, the demo and the concrete laying went well until I pointed out that the concrete was partially uneven and would need a very minor fix. My concerns were ignored and downplayed. The flooring went down and was quickly buckling. The agreed upon flashing was never installed. The trim in the room was ruined with structural screws. The stairs were made from moldy wood. The 60 foot drain was installed with an upward grade. When i was certain I didn't want him to finish I asked for a partial refund and was referred to his lawyer.
