We recently used United Roofing to re-roof our home after receiving several estimates. From Rick, Jimmy, Jose and the rest of the crew, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. They always arrived on schedule and everything handled professionally. Our neighbors commented on their teams use of the equipment and the efficient manner used in the installation process.
We had 3 layers of material removed and they finished in 2 1/2 days. leaving everything spotless. Outstanding work at a fair price. We definitely recommend this company,

Rick had Jose install our first roof in 1995. We are getting solar so I called Rick again and had the old roof removed and put a new one on by guess who, Jose. We still had about 4 more years left on the roof but because of the solar I couldn't wait. Rick, Jimmy and Jose are absolutely the best and most honest people in the business and their work speaks for itself. I interviewed 6 different companies before deciding to go with Rick and Jimmy, because I felt I could trust them the most. They really listened and answered to all my questions and concerns, their price is competitive, and when I asked for some references they provided them. And their crew is awesome too, Jose and two other gentlemen did a superb job and when they were done they cleaned everything up very nicely. Overall United Roofing is a very professional company from management to the crew, I am very happy and satisfied with the end result and I would strongly recommend them for any roofing needs.

Rick and his team at United Roofing Company are the best. We've used them on three occasions now and every job has been competitively priced, high quality workmanship. The most recent work was repair needed on a chimney flue. The project was scheduled during the LA wildfires and despite freeway closures and heavy traffic their crew wadded thru 3.5 hours of traffic to get to us, completed the job in the dark and called the next day to confirm all went well. Trustworthy, reliable and pleasant to work with....I'll continue to use and refer Rick and his team! Thanks again!!

Had an appointment set for Monday 12/18 which they never showed up for. I called and was told he needed to reschedule. So I rescheduled for 12/20. Rick called and said his day opened and wanted to come early. I said that didn't work because I don't live there and had to meet and couldn't get there earlier. He said ok.

Next thing I know he left me a voicemail saying that wasn't going to work for him so call the office to reschedule.

I called the office and said I absolutely wasn't rescheduling for a 3td time for them. I then posted a yelp review to complain.

After that Rick emailed me saying he googled the address and doesn't work on pitched roofs anyways. What kind of roofer are they? If that's the case, why not ask the right questions from the beginning and google it before setting up and canceling two appointments.

Then Rick who is apparently the owner gets into an email war with me. He called me psycho and said he doesn't want customers like me. Even after I told him to stop contacting me he continued to send emails saying I need help. Hysterical. He is nasty and unprofessional.

This is not just about one canceled appointment but 2 and his nasty emails.

Save your time people. Go elsewhere. Reputable companies in business 72 years like he states have more than 12 yelp reviews. Three emails after I told him not to contact me again. Yet I'm the psycho. Super unprofessional.

It's so great to find a company that doesn't sell you what you don't need. Way back in the 1980's we had a ""25 year"" roof installed by another company, which sprang a leak after 15 years. United Roofing put a 25 year roof on our house in 1995, which has kept us high and dry for 22 years. With the unusually heavy rains we had last winter we had lost a lot of grit off the shingles on our sloped roof and were thinking another heavy rain winter could be a problem. Since it would probably be difficult to find a roofer after the rainy season actually began, I asked United Roofing to check the condition of our shingles. Jimmy Coach went up on the roof to check things out. He told us the roof was probably good for another 3 to 5 years and left. Since we are obviously not knowledgeable about roofing, he could have just as easily said that we needed a new roof job, but he just said call him in 3 or 5 years unless we had a problem. Thank you Jimmy Coach, you've made our day!!
