Jon C. McCoy, Sr., a native of Jackson, MS, attended high school at Jackson Academy, Murrah, and Callaway. Having resided in the Jackson area for more than 50 years, he graduated from Callaway High School in 1980. Jon Sr. has three children: Mary Drew, Cody, and Jon Clark McCoy, Jr.

Jon Sr. holds a contractor's license from the State of Mississippi. With nearly 40 years of general contracting experience, he is also a licensed residential home builder.
