United Home Improvement is terrific. We had the exterior of our house painted and they did a great job of scraping the wood, sanding the wood, and breaking out all of the loose stucco and replacing the loose stucco. It was only after doing all of this prep work that they painted and the paint job was great. Cleanup was also great. And working with Ted Fink, the owner of United Home Improvement was a pleasure. He picked up on issues before I could even find them, and with him, nothing was a problem. Cleanup was also extremely conscientious. I highly recommend United Home Improvement.

I've always been happy with their service. They've done roof repairs, painted decks and repaired stairs. They also repaired and painted some interior walls so they look like new. Prices are reasonable.

I am very disappointed in the tile roof that was installed on my brand new construction addition. First I had to point out that the ridges were tilting and not going in a straight line. So they kind of fixed it. I also noticed that some of the tiles were too high and some were too low, making the roof look wavy. I then noticed that they got hot tar and concrete splatter all over the new tiles. I then decided to just let it go, and maybe no one will notice. After a couple days I had the rain gutter specialist arrive to install the gutters, and they said we don't recommend installing the rain gutters because the roof is missing concrete in many areas and is not installed correctly. I then jumped on Yelp and got 3 different roofer bids confirming that there were many issues with the install and it was done incorrectly. I asked Ted to refund me my money minus the material and I will have someone else complete the job, but he said no. I have documented all with pictures and videos.

If you need a painter or contractor (they do everything), look no further. From the owner to the crew, United Home were a pleasure to deal with. Although they're based in Calabasas, we were pleasantly surprised that they didn't quote us a 'Calabasas price'; out of 3 companies we consulted, they gave us the best quote on exterior house painting, minor roof and door repair and were able to start work the next day. Another company from Calabasas had quoted us 3-4 times as much, no joke! Project was completed as promised. Crew were all nice guys, took the time to put the patio furniture back every night and cleaned up after themselves when it was all done. Will use again. Thanks!!

I have used Ted from United home painting for quite a few projects : drywall & paint , a bathroom remodell, roofing and most recently a living room remodel . His prices are competitive and usually more affordable .. He has kept all our scheduled appointment and always does amazing work .. if there is every anything you aren't happy with he is willing to fix it .. He doesn't stick to just large jobs , he try's to take your vision and put it into reality .. he is also super honest .. and up front about all the costs . Ted and the gang installed a roof for us a year ago and they were quick and efficient and the roof made it through the rainy year without an issue. Ted was a wealth of information and made several suggestions about our zeriscape project and pointed out a planter box
that a previous contractor had installed incorrectly and how it would break and he was correct.
They always showed up on time and everyone was friendly and courteous.
