If you don't answer your phone they just don't show up, unreliable, cancelled 2 times. I guess they don't need the business!

We are completely satisfied with our new gutter system. These gutters were professionally installed and look great. No more climbing on the roof to clean gutters. Southern did everything they promised and more. After the installation the work area was clean and the old gutters taken away. It was a pleasure working with their representative Clay Gregory. He sold us a great product and was here after the work was done to make certain we were happy with new gutters.

I recently had gutters installed, and they look pretty good. However, I have now multiple issues with my gutters and the Gutter Guard company that installed them. First, the installation crew left little screws all over the place: on my brand new deck, in my carport, and all over my driveway. The biggest issue is the poor performance of these state-of-the-art gutters. When it rains, water pours over the gutters on the entire side of my deck like my own personal waterfall. I was told that Ultimate Gutter Guard would prevent such overflow, which was the only reason I replaced my old gutters in the first place. Then, there was the issue with the check I wrote. The company contacted me and said my bank refused payment due to my sloppy signature. I wrote another check, and mailed it that day. Not that big of an issue, until I discovered that not only had I been charged a $12.00 return check fee, but my bank actually paid them with the original check. When I went to the Huntsville office to discuss the double payment and show them the ""waterfall"" pictures, the receptionist was very pleasant and immediately contacted their corporate finance contact to remedy that issue. I contacted my bank and discovered they had initially paid the check and then reversed the payment a couple of days later. When the receptionist asked if there was anything else she could do to help, I mentioned that my gutters were grossly overflowing when it rained. Another woman appeared from around the corner and condescendingly informed me that the shingles would have to be trimmed in order for their product to work correctly. Wait. What?! And then the woman asked what my profession was - implying I was stupid because I expected the gutter system to work immediately after it was installed. Why on earth would I ever agree to spend thousands of dollars on gutters that won't function properly unless I hire someone else to trim my shingles? Clearly, this is a fraudulently deceptive practice - one that warrants this woman's non sequitur response of trimming shingles. I will never do business with this company again. Should've read all the 1-star reviews before hiring this company. Now, I'm out thousands of dollars, AND my gutters still overflow.

Issues have returned. More areas of soffit are coming loose, this time in front of the house. Called a few months back and was assured they would follow up. Still no sign of them. I would still recommend avoiding the company.

I take back the bad things I said. They showed up an the installer trainer agreed that the installation was not up to par. He promised me that all of my complaints would be fixed and that if I wasn't satisfied, that he would make it right.

This Ultimate Gutter Guard is the worst company ever. Nothing worked like it was supposed to and I got to the point where I had them removed and put regular gutters back up and then had another company called outofthegutters.com from Scottsboro install a new type of system on my gutters. Now I'm happy and my gutters look good and work like they should. I do NOT recommend Ultimate Gutter Guard but I do recommend the local Scottsboro company.

2/22/18. We're back. We are having an addition added on to the house. In the back. Under the porch roof where the Gutter Guard issue originally took place.
And the guys have uncovered a mess. Apparently, the water has back washed over the gutters, damaged the fascia, & affected the boarding under the shingles.
I have a roofer coming at 3 for an estimate and then repairs that are necessary.
I wish I had never, ever let Gutter Guard touch my house. It's been a FUBAR. Just one big mess.
Promises, promises.
They never came back after that last ""repair.""
And no, I didn't follow up. I have to deal with a brain tumor & it's quirks so I put that first.
And why, why, should the customer have to constantly compromise their lives when they have bought guarantee goods?
As far as I am concerned, Gutter Guard's"" Lifetime Warranty is a farce.
I wouldn't recommend them to the North Koreans.

Gutters were installed as promised. Installation crew was courteous and got the job done in one day. Seem to be working well.

Our experience with Gutter Guard was 2 years ago in 2015. We were looking to replace the gutters on our new home; as we had worries about the gutters not flowing right and damage to the wood behind. Our salesman was professional and worked well to explain everything to us. We were happy to learn that our wood was fine and did not need replacing. The crew got the work done quickly and cleaned up behind them. 2 years later we are still pleased with our gutters. We love the way the look on our home and peace of mind they give us during the fall, as we have large trees.

Upon thorough inspection of work done by The Ultimate Gutter Guard of Southern/ Greenville, I found numerous blatant oversights and overall inferior workmanship to which was highly paid for.
From the beginning I feel I was misled! The salesperson led me to believe that the amount of siding necessary to install my thermal windows would be minimal. Therefore, I signed the addendum to the contract brought on a second (due to a mistake) visit by the salesperson.
The installers removed extremely large pieces of siding and left them off(see photo). One piece of the siding was even bent and over lapped the windows (see photo). In addition, the installers took all the blinds down and didn't replace them!
Upon further examination of their work, as least three of the six window seals show damage; as well as the mess they left behind, and my trampled flowers. Overall the workmanship of the company (in my opinion) is extremely poor. The company leaves much to be desired!
I could not, in good conscious, recommend this company.
