Ultimate gutter guard completed an installation on my home in 2013. We have had a lot of rain recently in Birmingham. Three weeks ago I contacted ultimate gutter guard to report that the gutter guard installation is currently separating from the home, noticed during a heavy rainfall on a Saturday during the week of September 20. Contacted ultimate gutter guard, the representative filed a trouble ticket. I haven't heard from anyone since. Constantly called, can't get anyone to return calls or come out to look at the gutters.

Where to start?

One of their sales team, B. York, pressured my eighty year old mother into purchasing gutters for $18,000.00!He also demanded a $5,500.00 check for a deposit. Which being on a limited income put her in a real bind! She has early onset dementia and is legally deaf without her hearing aids, which she WILL NOT WEAR. So he definitely took advantage of her. Very low down, pushy and shady sales practices by this person. I truly hope I can meet him one day.

I cannot speak for the rest of the company, the representative I spoke with was extremely helpful and understanding. The transaction was cancelled, the check is voided and he told me it would be shredded. An exceptional ending to a potential nightmare.

What a disappointing experience it was having my soffit and facia and gutters replaced by this company. I was promised that a crew of no less than 4 qualified workers would arrive at my home and complete the job in 3 - 4 days (weather permitting). What I got was a one man crew with his young daughter and her girlfriend (and on occasion another young man who made it clear this was not his regular job!) that took 10 working days over a 2 1/2 week period to complete the task. During that time they were sloppy in their workmanship, left debris piles behind and even though they promised they would strive to close up everything they took down on a daily basis, they continually left gaping holes in my attic for the 2 1/2 weeks they spent working. Exposing it to squirrels and racoons and other varmets I had issues with in the past. When the job was done I signed off on the checklist to get rid of them from my property. I have since paid my bill in full and can only hope that their warranty is better than their construction crews! I would not recommend them for any home improvements or repairs! Buyer beware!

High-pressure sales team of one employee plus a trainee working for another company come to your house and insist that you listen to a long, long, and then longer detailed history of their company and why the competitors' products don't work. I never saw the huge bag they brought in of other gutter products and their own until he got into a hard push sales talk. The salesman was very offended by my request to get through the presentation after being here for almost 1-1/2 hours. He quoted an exorbitant price of approximately $13,800. However, he offered discounts that brought the price down to $10,900, but that price was only good while he was here. He informed me that if he had to make additional visits that it cost him time and money. This reminds me of someone trying to do pyramid schemes with high-pressure sales tactics. It was no a pyramid scheme to my knowledge, but it could have been. He threatened to leave if I didn't have time today after being here 1-1/2 hours and then come back another day. I told him that it was now or not at all. They took 1 hr, 45 minutes and that was only because I rushed them. They practically ran when I said absolutely not to buying this system today. Don't call these people. I don't care if they have the best product which remains to be seen. Good companies do t use high-pressure sales tactics.

We have been pleased with the new gutters we had installed by your company,, the young men that did the installation were very courteous and worked hard to complete the instillation in a timely manner, and cleaned up after the installation was complete. With the heavy rain we have had this summer it has been nice not to have the over spill that the old gutters produced.

They installed our windows, typical sell you moon but can't delivery.
1. We did not get 1 penny of the savings they said we would see. It's been a year!
2. We got Zero noise reduction they talked about, I really wonder if they installed the windows they promised. I can still hear the dog walking in the leaves from the 3rd floor!
3. The pictures speak for themselves. They claimed they would replace any bad wood and anything that might brake when installing. After installing they said it was only for the outside of the house.
4. We also did our window install in stages, and they agreed when we signed the contract. Now they say we have to pay the installation price again.
5. We also change the design of 2 windows, they mixed them up when ordering and we did not notice till install. When we told them it was backward. They claim we have to pay for the new windows. Because of the messy drawing on the contract you can't really tell which window is which.
