TBR did a great job on my roof. You can notice the little details to attention, that I appreciate. Sure there where hiccups on the build, but you know what matters is a companies willingness to correct the issue. That is where they came thru. I would use them again.

We recently had Two Brothers out to provide a bid on a home we are under contract to purchase that has a very old roof. A structural engineering firm (hired by the insurance company) and two other roofing companies did not identify any hail damage on the roof. Two Brothers walked the roof and advised they discovered hail damage. This came as a surprise to everyone, but okay?

They advised a cash price for the roof would be around $40k, but if insurance would cover it would be closer to $70k. This heavily contributes to the very high insurance rates in Texas, because providers aim to price discriminate based on ability to pay, and seek deep pockets of insurance carriers, as opposed to bidding out materials, labor and a fair mark-up. Sure, maybe dealing with an insurance adjuster and the back and forth involved could add some handling time, but nearly double the price seems way out of bounds. We happily handed over the report from Two Brothers to the owners of the home, and they plan to pursue the roof repair through insurance or directly.

After identifying that the home we were originally under contract for needed a new roof, we found another home. Through the inspection process, it was identified that roof repairs are needed (not uncommon) and I asked Two Brothers to come out to inspect and bid the job. I was then informed they would charge me $250 for the pleasure of their arrival. This is a first from a roofing company. Their website clearly states that roof repair requests are free, and a full ""New Home Buyers Inspection/Report"" is for a $250 fee. I do not need a ""New Home Buyers Inspection/Report,"" I just need a bid to repair the roof, which is clearly free under their website definition, ""When your roof gets damaged, the Brothers are who to call. Our team of experts will fix your roof quickly and professionally."" This is really just another form of price discrimination. Charging different prices to different people for the same thing - a bid to repair work on a roof. Additionally, of all the roofing companies we contacted, Two Brothers is the only one who attempted to charge for the pleasure of their arrival...

In my experience, I would avoid. The roof is a major component to the home, and you should go with someone you trust, not with a company that discriminates in price between an individual and insurance company, or based on the ownership status of the home.

My roof was finished today (9/16/20). So far the experience has been excellent. Their crew was very friendly and cleaned up everyday. The project isn't over until it's over but so far so good. If anything changes I'll update but for now, call them for an estimate and talk about their process. Stay tuned.

Our experience with Two Brothers Roofing was fantastic. Communication was excellent, they answered all of my questions, addressed my concerns, and even accommodated my request that they allow another company to do attic air sealing while the deck was off. They spread tarps (lots of tarps!) to catch all the debris, and left the worksite clean and organized each day. They even built a covered walkway off the porch so the other trades working inside could come and go safely while they were tearing off the old roof. Afterwards, I received almost 100 pictures documenting the job from start to finish. Ruben and David attend expos and conferences where they learn all the latest in building science (yes, that's a thing), tools, techniques, and even insurance software. But in the end, it's a beautiful, well built roof that counts - along with the best warranty in the business - and with Two Brothers, that's exactly what you'll get. Thank you, Ruben and David!

We were hit with the recent hail storm and needed a new roof. We had the usual number of roofers trolling for work in our neighborhood afterwards and we decided to find a local family owned roofing business. I called Ruben and he was at my house the next day and we picked a roof we wanted and he came back when my adjuster came to do our estimate. We had a great adjuster and he and Ruben communicated about how to go about it. They set a date for the following week while we were out of town, when we came back our house was finished beautifully and zero evidence that they were ever there. Highly recommend this family.
