I don't like to give negative reviews. This guy had pretty good reviews so I called for an estimate to complete some roof work. He never called back. I know sometimes people get busy and can't get to all the jobs, or they're perhaps somewhat selective about the jobs they take, but if that were the case he should have called and stated such.

We were immensely pleased with the service and response time of Turk the Roofer on our leaky skylight issue.

We first called on the Wednesday before Memorial Day and got a call back within 2 days and an onsite technician on Memorial Day!

The technician Jamie was professional, well mannered, very knowledgeable in his trade and was happy to walk us through the issue on the roof.

After explaining a few possible causes of the leak, Jamie went ahead and repaired it onsite right away.

I should emphasize that right now it is next to impossible to get a Roofing company to look at repairs because of the number of people replacing roofs after the rainy season, but we felt valued and will be using Turk for all our future roof needs as well as recommending to others .

Excellent customer experience!

4 months ago I called to have a home inspection issue resolved. Turk's team evaluated the job that day and had a whole new section of a flat roof resurfaced by the next day.

Flash forward to today. In our current home we had some sections of shingles blown off by the wind. I called Turk on a Sunday afternoon and received a call back in less than 2 hours. On a Sunday by the owner himself.

Turk is the kind of guy you'd trust with the keys to your home. He's responsive, reliable and reasonably priced.

Turk only advertises word of mouth because he is that amazing he doesn't need to do it any other way. He used to do roofs all by himself with a hammer and nail! Now he has a crew he personally supervises. He will only do one home at a time to ensure he gives the customer his full attention. When he worked on my roof it rained during the night when there was zero chance of rain. I heard the rain at 2am, freaked out, looked out my window and super Turk was pulling in with his crew! They put up sheeting at 2am! He told me it started to rain in Santa Cruz and he drove like a maniac to get to our home before the rain got to us. He was right on time! That's dedication! I hope he's around in 40 years when I need my new roof! He's the best!

Thank goodness for Turk!! He came out and thoroughly inspected our leaky roof! Problems that had been missed by our roof inspection from another roofer were found and repaired! Turk and his guys are great! I was told he was the best in the business and now I'm a believer! I will continue to recommend him!

Nice guy, great job, very responsive. We had a bad leak in the midst of a rainy winter (after we paid another company Daddario to inspect our roof and supposedly fix it when we purchased our home a little more than a year earlier). We called several other roofing companies and kept hearing Turk's name so I called him, too. Other companies took a while to respond and then took even longer for an estimate. Turk came out quickly, diagnosed the issue and told us what needed to be done for a permanent fix. He even went the extra mile and devised a temporary solution to last us through the rainy season until the permanent fix could be performed. Highly recommend him and his company. A stand-up guy.

I had a leak and got an estimate in late spring. I tried for months starting in early summer to get him to commit to an actual time to complete the work after I approved the job. After several phone calls, (and a few rains in between) he promised to get the job done before winter rains, I finally got him to give me a week in late October. He didn't show, nor has he called to apologize for not doing what he said he would. It is December and I contacted another company last week who gave me an estimate, and completed the job within a week. I know he works alone, but if he really didn't want to do the work, he should have just been upfront about it, and I would have gotten another roofer earlier in the summer.
