I called spoke to a woman on the phone about Damage Done to the roof of our house and about getting an estimate she informed me they don't come out and give quotes that are small they just show up and they bill you she went on to tell me basically to go somewhere else that it could be months before they could get to me just be honest you don't want my business but I do have another property I will not use you

If you are thinking of replacing your roof, with your own preference of roof covering, you might want to entertain using Tunnell Roofing Company as one of your prospects. The reason being, they are very professional, have been here since 1949 and train and certify all their workers to the roof covering manufacturers' standards. And most of their employees have been with them for decades.

Please note that we were very meticulous and monitored every aspect of our new roof's installation and we could not have been any happier than working with everyone from Tunnell Roofing Company. We have never met members of a working crew that were more than cheerful to make us happy in every respect.

The roofers did a good job. there were a few minor issues which they correcrted. The only problem is they managed to drop some tile on top of my son's new bicycle scratching it. It has been a few months and my son is still upset that they did not offer to replace his bike. Make sure there is nothing of value where they might drop tile.

Had my 45 year old mobile home reroofed By Tunnel. They came in with supplies, 4 workers, completed the job in one day. When they left, my yard, driveway, everything was neat as a pin. The roof looks great. The crew was professional, neat and I am more than pleased.

Tunnell Roofing removed 2,000 sq. ft. of residential cement tile roofing material, repaired water damaged rafters and fascia boards, replaced the old tar paper with new and improved underlayment, reroofed with GAF high-quality asphalt shingles, installed new flashings and a ridgeline venting system including bullnose ridge shingles, specially shingled a low slope section of the roof, installed a skylight and three solar-powered electric attic fans, painted all vent pipes, and performed a noteworthy clean-up. And how long did all this take? A week of workdays. ""J.D."" the company's sales rep. was both patient and very helpful guiding our selection of materials and overseeing the job. I was able to watch and converse with the friendly and attentive roofing crew that worked very hard but with efficiency and effectiveness every day. Their pricing was competitive and their work exemplary, thus I would give them my highest recommendation.

Beware of having to pay traveling fees for roof repairs in hours billed. We are new to the area and recently purchased a house that had a roof leak in our garage during all the rain. Upon scheduling I was told they do not give quotes for repairs but charge $175 per hour, plus supplies. I was hesitant to use them because of this, but we needed our roof repaired and several people referred me to this company. My ring security cameras showed workers were at our property for a little less than one hour. However, upon receiving the invoice it did not have a breakdown of fees and seemed more than my calculations. When I asked the bookkeeper for a breakdown she said workers billed for 2 hours but she had reduced to 1 & 1/2 hours plus supplies. She then informed me that the additional hour was for travel time but she did reduce to 30 mins. I was never disclosed or told previously that we would be charged for travel time of repair men at $175 per hour! I've delt with numerous businesses for repairs on homes I've owned and have never been billed for this type of charge. I do not trust this company because of this and would not be recommending them to anyone. I'm giving a 2 star due to the worked performed but not for honesty or principle.

We are extremely pleased with the Tunnell Roofing work crew, their earnestness and their prompt attention to detail. Foreman, Benny, was a pleasure to work with. A particular example: a week after roofing completion and after passing inspection, we owners noticed a rotting board. With only a quick email and phone call, Benny and his crew were out to our home the very next day fixing the area at no extra charge.
