Tulba's Roofing

Tulba's Roofing isn't one of the companies that shows up in Yelp searches so I'm glad my friend referred me. The heavy rains a month ago exposed a problem with my roof. I had attempted some DIY roof coating material years ago (as seen in the Before pics) that may have contributed to those problems. We had site visits and estimates from all the roofing companies you see on TV before we contacted Tulba's.

My experience with Tulba's:
Nov. 6 Called to set up a site visit and get a quote
Nov. 7 Ernie came out to my home and performed the inspection himself
Nov. 8 Estimate received
Email correspondence, clarifying scope, questions, etc.
Nov. 13 Contract signed
Nov. 23 Ernie and his crew show up bright and early to start work. 95% of the work done in 1 day with final touches done the next day.

We could not be happier with the end product and service we received. Ernie is behind all the back office stuff, emailing me back late at night and I respect that grind. The crew worked hard and made sure my property was clean after their work was done. Definitely recommend them and the Yelp algorithm should recognize it soon too.

I've been having problems with a certain leak in the roof in my patio and everyone, including myself, could not solve the leak. I've had my son's friends come and fix the leak. But, no matter what they did or I did, the leak persisted. Then I had another persistent leak occur in my entryway that I spent a lot of time and money trying to fix it myself. So, after being neglectful for a while, I finally succumbed to my wife's ""reminders"" and sought estimates from various roofing companies. My mistake the last time was to accept the lowest bid when I reroofed and I realize now that I could have avoided a lot of costs if I didn't decide to be cheap. Just so happens that I accepted Tulba's bid, regardless that he was the lowest bidder. The other companies were either way too high or they didn't get back to me. Sorry, but I forgot Tulba's first name but he actually looks like Augie T, but I never asked. When the job was being done, he never left and stayed at the job. I asked him if the roof leaked again, can I call him back. My roof leaked again, but when I called him he scheduled a day to come back to fix the problem as promised. Again, Tulba stayed for the entire repair and explained to me that redid all he could and if it leaked again it would be beyond the scope of what he replied. My roof did not leak the last time I had a good rain. I chose Tulba's because of cost, but more so because Tulba really seemed to be someone you can trust. We needed to replace the gutters on our roof and Tulba's roofing scheduled a visit to be able to make a detailed estimate. They were responsive and addressed our needs quickly and efficiently. Our gutters were in desperate need of repairs and I had a really hard time to get anyone to respond to me. I got tulbas the rough yelps automatic response when I asked for other quotes. It's always hard to be the first to use a company, but I am so glad I did! They came out to give me my quote on the date and time they said they would show up. The estimator was polite, respectful of my time, and followed up with me after giving me his very reasonable quote. The team called and was able to squeeze me in despite the storms we've had for the last month. His team showed up on time, cleaned up the mess, and completed the job well. I'm the gutters look great and I can't say enough great things about Tulbas. Highly recommend to anyone who also needs new gutters!

I obtained quotes from 4 roofing companies and decided to go with Tulba's Roofing. From the first meeting with Ernie Tulba, I could tell he exemplifies true customer service. I hired Tulba's to reroof my house and replace my gutters. Through it all, Ernie remained flexible and worked with other contractors such as Kumu Kit (who had to remove my PV system before they could start roofing) and the painters I hired (completion of the gutters had to wait until the painting was completed). He replied promptly to all questions or concerns I had. He stayed on site the entire time and managed the roofers
and gutter installers making sure things were done right. This was one of the best decisions I've made. Thanks Ernie!
