I do not recommend this contractor. I saw good reviews here and elsewhere and sent them an email asking for a quote on a project. The employees were responsive and professional and everything was moving along fine until the owner, Travis Sparkman , got involved.

Out of nowhere I get an email saying he is not interested in working my project. When I had the audacity of asking why not his true colors came through and he was not very pleasant. Actually he got pretty nasty for a reason I still do not understand. I guess he doesn't like being questioned.

You'll see that he will immediately respond to this review and call me a liar etc etc but the difference between he and I is that I have the email chain to prove it. Please feel free to message me and I'll be happy to share all of the emails showing who he really is.

In the end he did me a favor because it obviously was not going to go well.

I can't imagine there is a better company in Tallahassee. My commercial Business which is under a pending sale had a significant water leak and Travis detected the problem immediately had someone there within two days to fix the problem and totally waterproof the wall where the water came in. I needed quick service to save my sales and he understood that!

He gave me a quote quickly, constantly kept me updated and performed as he indicated he would. Totally professional, knowledgeable and considerate of my problem.
He even tried to negotiate with my neighbor whose clogged sewer was causing the water problem. What other contractors would try so hard to help with the cost? Most would tell you that's your problem to talk to the neighbor.
A great, fair, knowledgeable, upfront guy!!
It's not often you can find a contractor you can trust.

Had him come out to my mother's house to give an estimate and gave him the insurance company's scope of work with the prices redacted. He refused to give me a bid without knowing what the insurance was going to pay. Despite telling him I already had the insurance check and owned the building free and clear, he accused me of trying to make money on the insurance claim. I explained to. Him that what the insurance was paying was none of his business unless he was charging more and that I would show him the unredacted version after he made his bid if he was higher. He said, ""I'm not here to make you money. I'm here to make me money."" I had also offered him to bid on my personal residence as well. He refused without knowing what the insurance was going to pay. I would never treat my clients this way.

I highly recommend Travis and his team. They completed the roofing on my rental property, found and repaired a mysterious leak and very diligently cleaned up the work site. Travis is super responsive and the work was done very timely even in precarious weather conditions. I highly recommend TSpark Enterprises and would use them again.
