Due to the rising costs of energy and the impending nem 2.0 cutoff, we went shopping for a company to install solar and a new roof. We met with Mario and considered his pricing to be more than fair in comparison to other quotes we received. Mario and his team did an excellent job from inception to completion. I have even received compliments from other solar companies on the quality of work, with some asking which company did the work for me. I have no hesitation in recommending Mario and his company, TSP. If you are in the market for solar, work on your roof, or both, rest assured Mario and his company will go above and beyond your expectations at a reasonable rate!

I have been looking for someone to replace two inverters on my roof. Mario and his team negotiated a great price and did the work in a timely fashion. Easy to get hold of them which is so hard to find with companies nowadays!!

I hired solar pros after another roofing company had completely taken advantage of me and ripped me off. Mario came over went up on my roof and took pictures for me, as well as finding over 200 broken tiles! His crew came in and within 1 day had replaced all the broken tiles as well as cleaned up a few other issues left behind. Had I known solar pros did roofs as well I would have never went anywhere else. Solar pros is now my go-to for ANY roofing needs I have!

Javier, one of the decision makers in the company had advised me that Jorge, Oscar, and his nephew had denied any and all wrongdoing. Oscar said his nephew never cross any wires. Jorge found the wires crossed, corrected them, and now is saying he never found any wires crossed. All 3 of them are just CYA, Cover Your Ass. Everyone at The Solar Pros aka The Solar Amateurs are a bunch of lying pricks. Jorge is a chickenshit that is covering up for his friend, Oscar. Oscar is covering up for his nephew. Slap a polygraph on them and the truth will come out. If the 3 amigos really didn't do anything wrong as they claimed, then why would Javier take responsibility and offered to pay for new appliances that his employees destroyed? All 4 of them have guilt written all over them, but yet they can't get off their high horse, lower their eagle, swallow their pride, and take ownership of their mistakes. They still want to come back and patch up my wall? Go kick some rocks. Trust is out the window.

The name says it all. Mario/Javier and their team did an excellent professional job in the upkeep of my solar system and the roof its on. I've learned from them that routine maintenance will avoid major problems in the future. I hope anyone who read this will consider The Solar Pros for any solar needs you may have. Another big plus was once there team was done the work area was cleaned and I didn't have to pick up after them. People were respectful and courteous.

Mario made the work easy and simple. There was a lot of work done. He was able to explain step-by-step as a homeowner. I was very satisfied even his workers were very professional cleaning taking care of any work that has to be done and show the work step-by-step in pictures and face-to-face.

Shotty work, these are the terrible amateur third party companies who do nothing but bad work. A group of unqualified people from The solar gurus, the solar pros, or some other worthless company will send a bunch of home depot looking workers from the bed of a truck to do horrible work. They have come out 3 times and each time, there is an electrical problem they deny is their fault. Outlets will fail all over the place over and over again, ovens will not turn out, electricity will flow in and out then stop. Powur subcontracts with amateurs like The solar pros to ruin your house. NEVER get your solar panels from these guys, Solar Gurus, Solar pros, or any of these companies. You will regret it. They come over, break your outlets and ruin your electricity, then deny all responsibility for it even though there were never any issues prior to this. Horrible horrible horrible. And they make you pay the full amount before inspection so once the work is done again, and more outlets are broken, you can't even withhold payment. I am waiting for a response from their amateurs again. This review will not change until this is resolved. in the meantime I will never let them IN THIS HOUSE AGAIN.

Solar pros uninstalled multiple solar panels for us and fixed several tiles. I didn't have to use a separate roofing company and solar company. In fact almost every solar company we called would only do new installations. Came in way lower priced than just solar removal for repair. Prompt, courteous and honest.

I can not recommend Mario & The Solar Pros enough! I used another Solar Installer originally, and unfortunately they caused multiple leaks and damaged my roof when installing 26 panels. I've since learned the only way to go when installing solar, is to avoid the big companies (I used KOTA) and hire an experienced roofer certified in solar (like Mario)! You have 30,000 to 50,000 dollars over your head in roofing, protect it from big solar companies, ie amateur roofers!

When it was obvious my previous company was not going to fix it (nor would I trust them to), I called the best reviewed East Bay companies for bids to fix the damage and reinstall the system. First off, Mario answers his phone himself, and can competently and honestly answer your questions. I got his bid in days, everyone else was weeks. He inspected it the next day, the others were weeks. He fixed the cover plate with the largest gap (sticking up in the air), and a few broken tiles with ones he happened to have in his truck just to be nice while inspecting my roof. Who does that? Mario! He greatly reduced the worst of my leaks before I hired him, and that saved me a lot of money since I was no longer getting so much interior water damage each rain. Mario worked with me on the price, and was 100% in line with the competing bids.

After the job commenced, he proved each day I was an important client, answering my questions, and making sure his crew delivered as promised. He took pictures everyday of the damage they found (for my lawyer), and the progress on the reinstall. The materials he used are light years ahead of what I had (going from tar paper to high temp peel and stick underlayment). His crew started work a day or two after hire (other companies gave me estimates of 4 to 6 weeks), they worked hard each and every day, and they even came on a Sunday because there was a break in the rain. This dedication again saved me money, since each day was a day without solar. I could not have asked for more from his crew.

Finally he came to inspect the work with me when the job was done, and they did exactly what we agreed. He not only fixed every leak, made my roof look new, and reinstalled the entire frame system perfectly, he improved my solar production. He repositioned my most powerful panels (I have 400w and 360w) where they would get the most sun, and added an extra string to my install to ensure there were no issues like I had in the past. My solar is back up and running better than ever, and I am so impressed with the roof work they did, I asked for a bid to upgrade the rest of my roof. His workmanship, experience, and 10 year warranty are worth every penny!
