In the beginning of 2023 I had a major project to finish the basement of my house in downtown Sacramento which I had started in 2021 that was frankly a disaster. Things had gotten to this state because I had gone through a couple of other contractors that were either bad actors, or incompetent. I reached out to Tim to see if it was possible to salvage something out of this mess and actually complete the work.

The first positive I noticed is Tim was able to communicate clearly exactly what we needed to do- before we could start work, once we started what needed to be fixed moving forward etc...The nature of the project and the state things were in meant this was an expensive project but the pricing estimates TSD provided were always accurate and there were never any surprises. It took some time due to having to go through multiple corrections on the work of previous contractors, but as I am writing this we have finished the project and passed all inspections. To get here not only did they have to do excellent work but they also repeatedly handled inspectors that were extra vigilant and occasionally hostile due to the the issues with the project we had before hiring TSD.

The quality of the work done by TSD is also outstanding, not only did they get us through the nightmare stage on the project but our remodeled basement came out beautiful, particularly their work on the bathroom and custom cabinets.

If you are looking for a contractor in the Sacramento area i can't recommend TSD Construction highly enough. They came through for me on a project I was starting to doubt I'd ever finish, and Tim professional and honest throughout the entire process.

I saw an ad for TSD Construction in our local paper, so I was moved to get a quote on a roof repair. I sent a message through YELP, and received a prompt response! Scheduling an estimate was easy, and the team arrived on time as agreed. The inspection was incredibly detailed, and several options were provided at different price points. Unanticipated expenses came up and we weren't able to do the roof replacement within the 30-day quote. However, as soon as we are able to proceed with the project we will definitely hire TSD Construction.

A few months ago I needed to find a contractor to do some major exterior work on my sister-in-law's house. After a few calls to potential contractors I found that they either wouldn't bother to call me back or if they did, they didn't seem to want the work. That's all fine, but why not just tell me that instead of ignoring me.

Then I called Tim Davidson, and even though he was out of the country when I contacted him, he still took my call and promised to call me back in a week when he returned home. And guess what? He DID call me back as promised. After our initial meeting at the property, I knew that I had found the right contractor.

Tim and his crew were easy to communicate with, 100% reliable and excellent to work with. They went out of their way to help us turn an old house that had been neglected for decades into a house that looks like it was newly built. I will be contacting Tim to do some work on my own house in the coming year.

On behalf of my sister-in-law, my wife and myself we want to heartily thank Tim and the guys for being so nice to us and for all of the little extra things they did to make the renovation process go smoothly, in spite of some unavoidable delays due to a series of storms that came through.

They did roof and guided me w finance options. Workers were excellent, always courtesies and moved outside furniture and plants. Would recommend them and use if I have further needs. Roof looks beautiful!

Tim and his crew did an outstanding job repairing the siding on my house, both my garage doors, prep and painted my entire house. We called Tim Davidson with TSD Construction to help us with a stucco patch on our deck and Tim and his crew were fantastic! We couldn't be happier with the work....not only did they get our stucco repair done in time for our escrow to close but the deck repair that they did matched the existing stucco perfectly. We are very lucky that we chose to go with Tim since the work was done on time and professional, especially in today's environment when it's difficult to find reliable and quality workmanship. I am very happy with the work that Tim and his team has done for my home. We needed a new roof and Tim gave us a detailed quote and let us know about an issue with our HVAC as well. Whenever we had a house issue, he's the first person we call. We've called other companies for second opinions, but they haven't been as professional as Tim and his team. They answered all my questions, they gave me all the options and details and never felt pressured. (I called Bonney for lots of things such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC and I regret it every time! They try to scare you into spending more and when you mention that you had another quote they ask you for all the information and then badmouth the person that they worked with previously that works there now.)

Tim is always considerate of our needs and our busy schedule!

Tim is a con artist and liar. He will take your money and run. He does not stand behind his work and will lie straight to your face. We paid a lot of money to have a fir pit put in that is falling apart because of bad workmanship. A patio cover that water pools in the center and leaks. We are told by the con artist this is natural and supposed to do it. He will find every excuse in book why he can't be bothered with doing it right. I would not recommend him to anyone. He will rip you off and smile in your face. The worst contractor I have ever come across.

I bought a pre-owned home in Glenbrooke of Elk Grove. Its only drawback was a backyard of almost entirely cement. Finding it too small to meet Elk Grove's restrictions for patio covers, I called Tim Davidson and enlisted his help. He listened very carefully to my thoughts. Then he and his crew went to work on transforming an all cement view (made worse by an existing broad-side view of a home not 20' from my patio door). I decided I had made myself quite clear as to my own desires and let Tim go to work without further input from me. I cannot believe the difference he and his workers made in what was unsightly at best and tricky to transform at worst. Tim as well as every one of his crew were very professional and easy to work with down to concern for the smallest of things like Murphy my speed of light escape artist of a dog.
