In late January 2022 I had a company ""Stay Dry Roofing"" come out to my Pasadena house to give me an estimate to replace roof shingles that had been damaged by the latest Santa Ana winds.

I was under the impression that the company was a small family owned business but they were not. They were a large corporate with offices in cities all over SoCal. The rep from the company gave me an estimate of about $900.00 and stated that the earliest he could schedule me was a week away, and that the repairs would take 5 hours. He stated that he could schedule me in if I left a 40% deposit.

I was not comfortable with the estimate, the scheduling, the request for a deposit for a minor roof repair, and I fact that I felt that they were trying to take advantage of me. I told them that I would think about it but I never called them back.

I surfed the net and found Trusted Path Roofing which is a small family owned business from the Pasadena area. The reviews that they had were all very positive.

I called Trusted Path Roofing and spoke to Hector who was nearby at another house giving an estimate. Hector told me that he could be at my house within an hour and he certainly was.

Hector showed up with his brother and inspected the roof. Hector gave me an estimate of $150.00 and stated that he could do the repair the following day.

Hector's brother showed up the next day and made the repairs in about 30 minutes. I went up on the roof with him and he pointed out all the repairs that he made. He also fixed a metal flashing that was bent and at the bottom of chimney stack. He also added a sealant to some exposed nails that had protruded out from the shingles. If not sealed, water could get under the nails and under the shingles, and cause damage. I advised the bother that prior to any major rain or storms, that I check my roof to see if any areas need to be sealed. The brother gave me two tubes of the sealant before he left in case I needed it in the future. I was so happy with the service that I gave the brother a tip before he left.

I plan on replacing my roof within the next year and Trusted Path Roofing will be the 1st company that I will be calling when I want estimates. I was impressed by Hector and his company and would recommend them. They all seemed like very hard working and honest people.

We had a minor leak on the roof above our kitchen. Joe and his team went up to the roof and less than 10 minutes they came back to me. They told me that two of the tiles were shifted and they just put the tiles back properly. They didn't charge me anything. Very honest. Would highly recommend.

I am completely satisfied with Trusted Path Roofing. I needed a total re-roof of a Spanish tile/ flat roof house, and a shingled detached three car garage. I was nervous about hiring a contractor again after a bad experience with a kitchen remodel. When I first called Trusted Path they responded quickly. Joe and David stopped by and explained the whole process and materials to be used, as well as answering my questions. They got back to me promptly with a reasonable bid. After getting bids from three other companies, I decided to go with Trusted Path because I had a good gut feeling about them, and I also felt that more of my money would go into my roof than it would with a larger company that sends out field reps/salesman to do the quote process. I met with ****** who was very professional and he sent a contract that was stated clearly according to the details we had talked about. They stopped by quickly after that with samples of the roofing tiles and shingles for me to look at. Their hardworking crew demo-ed the old roof, replaced damaged and rotten wood and cleaned up after themselves. I wanted the tile cement a certain style and sent some pictures as a reference. They did a sample and asked for feedback, and proceeded with an execution that surpassed ** expectations. The curb appeal of my house increased greatly. I'm picky and wanted a quality job at a competitive price and Trusted Path Roofing delivered. During the project I never felt abandoned or not listened to or ripped off. ****** and Joe always got back to me, and answered my questions promptly. A well run business-I totally recommend Trusted Path Roofing.

I had 5 companies give me an estimate and Hector was the only one who didn't flinch when I asked to get a inspection permit. He took Care of the entire process , which due to Covid took a few weeks but that's not because of him . The inspection office is backlogged.

We had a leak through our light fixture when it rained so we were very worried . They started the work which was a 40 by 40 area and his workers showed up on time and worked very diligently. I have a Spanish tile roof so it's not a easy job and all the workers under the supervision of David did a very clean job and removed debris and broken cement pieces so nothing fell off on the ground damaging our tile work. They swept and moved back the furniture leaving no signs of the huge amount of work that went into replacing broken tiles. I appreciated that very much. Roof looks great and has passed inspection which didn't surprise me.

Had a minor Leak roof at the garage recently, called the company, Joe and his tech came , they checked It carefully in the attic and the roof, took Some pictures, and explained to me what was the problem, it was just the strong wind below off the tile, they put it back properly , didn't charge me a penny, I haven't see any company so honest anymore, they plant a trust seed in me already, unlike Sunshine roof company, they sent a bad manner old man to my house, didn't bother check attic and roof, Just quoted me $1800.. I guess sunshine roof just want to make the most money out of their customer, it didn't matter how small the leak. They will just charge you thousand of dollars.

Trusted Path Roofing got the job done. The entire team is professional and kind. They were patient to answer all my questions and offered different options for payment so I can afford the repairs. They did a clean job to complete the project and left the place better looking than when they came in. I definitely recommend this business for roof related issues. Hector was the one who gave me the estimates and did the assessment on my roof. He is knowledgeable and breaks down the information so you can understand what's going on. I'm so glad that I chose them for such a big project. The team works hard throughout the whole process and they make sure that every detail is taken care of.
