We had a bad leak from our patio roof so we contacted roofing companies for quotes to redo the entire house this past November. The representative, Eran, from Trusted Home Contractors was extremely friendly and quoted us a price significantly less than the other companies and promised to start the job almost immediately so naturally we went with them. A couple of days into the job, the project manager stated that our initial quote was $7000 too low and they were going to lose money on the job. Now to their credit they didn't increase our bill an extra $7000 but they did have us pay half of that extra amount - can you say ""Bait and switch""? But at least they finished the job within 4 days of signing the contract which was significantly sooner than any other company was even planning on starting. We definitely wanted to beat the rainy season, which we did. However once the rains hit hard we noticed the patio still had a small leak so I quickly contacted Eran. He brushed me off and said to call the main office which I have done twice. Both operators took my call, wrote down my information and complaint and said a technician would contact me. It's now been almost 3 weeks and I have not heard back from anybody over there. If you want the job done quickly, then this is your company. If you want the job done right, then go elsewhere. There is a warranty on the roof but a lot of good that does me when I cannot even get the company back out here to fix their work. It would have been a 1 star review but at least the main house isn't leaking...at least not yet.

I'm very disappointed with this company
Chris and Mike came out in the rain to give me an estimate on my roof. They got up and took a look at my situation. I want a complete re roof.
The came inside and Mike gave me his pitch.
Qoted a price. Took me through hero financing. Several texts with questions and answers later I was satisfied.
Chris was to come out at noon on sat to sign me up.
He was late not a big deal. Then he tells me he made a mistake and it was going to cost 2000.00 more.
Needless to say I expressed my disappointment and asked to speak to the owner of this family run business.

Fyi they also advertise a 25% discount.

No call 4 days later so I am writing this review. Fyi also told Chris I had gotten a quote for more than 3000 less. But their advantage was reputation and financing as well as quoted 1 week completion and immediate start with financing approval.

The Contractors and staff were very understanding and helpful with my roofing issue. They offered several programs to help with cost and when i was approved they xame out to my house right away and started the roofing project. Very professional and quick. Just in time before it started to rain. Very satisfied with the job. Highly recommend

I had a roof emergency I called Trusted Home to come out and inspect roof and give me a quote. There representative was at my location 2 hrs after my phone call. I own property in Los Angeles but live in Las Vegas they put on a new roof within a few days and kept me totally in the loop, which made me feel at ease that they were going to take good care of this situation even if I was out of state . Did a great job and crew was very professional and kept the project on time and very clean. Would highly recommend them and will use them again for future projects . Thank you Alora K.

My property in Hermosa Beach California had weathered 15 years of the harsh marine elements and was looking horrible. To make matters worse, A very similar brand new home was built right next door.

So I challenged Trusted Home Contractors to do the impossible! Make my 15 year old home look just as nice as the new home next door.

Well to make a long story short, THC (and no we're not talking about THAT THC LOL). Did an amazing job and now my property looks like new. Also I live in Texas and had to do all of this from out of state.

Thanks to the fantastic project management skills of Isaac Shapov the entire project went perfectly. I could not be happier with the results and highly recommend Trusted Home Contractors for any project you need. Extremely professional and reliable. Don't waste your time or money on the cheap fix contractors. Just remember the tried and true saying - you get what u pay for!

In first place, I appreciate the way this company shows concern about making sure everything is being done according with your expectation. The naterial being used is of great quality, and instalers do the job in a very profesional manner. My extended patio being builded, took only a couple of days to have it done. Also, they removed every little peace of trash, leaving the place very much aceptable. Thank you Trusted Builder for showing so much respect and care for your customes.

RATE ZERO ::: This company has the worst management from A to Z, everybody's a contractor you never get a straight answer, they give you a bunch of excuses as to why the job cannot be completed on a timely manner.

If I could give negative stars believe me I would!! Absolute worst job I have ever seen done on interior work! Roof was great that's the only thing I can say good about the work they do! I had my bathroom done by these ""contractors"" and not even 4 months later the walls are cracking the tile never got fixed that was cracked and broken, it took 2 months just to get them to fix the problem they created with the drain for the shower! Biggest mistake I ever made was hiring these fellas to do the inside of my house stay way clear of the interior portion THC stick to roofing that's about all you are good at

1. I'd like to share my roofing experience with Trusted Home Contractors (THC) who I believe if not in the top 1%, should be at least in the top tier in the roofing industry. I am an aerospace engineer with 35 years of industry experience and every major project I undertake has to meet my strict criteria for FFF (Form, Fit and Function). My review is long, however, hopefully detailed enough to provide you with an accurate picture sufficient enough to make an informed decision for your next roofing project.
2. Background. Our family home is situated in the West Adams district of Los Angeles (a few miles west of downtown and south of Korea Town). The home was built in 1907 and the city has classified it as a historic 'Craftsman Bungalow'. This corner home is approximately 1650 sq. ft. and has rare features not seen anymore including 'old growth' redwood shingles (not stucco or wood siding), a large wrap-around front porch, an unattached one car garage and a basement/cellar. My sister and I grew up in this home and after my parents passed away, we decided to keep the home and rent it out. For a home this old, the overall condition is excellent, however, the outside required a lot of TLC including a new roof.
3. Phase 1, Administrative Review and Interview - I started out on the internet and spent a few days reviewing 11 websites (chosen at random) that service our area. I noted their business license numbers and reviewed the companies against the Department of Consumer Affairs website (www.cslb.ca.gov), ensuring they had an active license (all had active licenses) and were in good standing with the state. I then went to the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and verified each company had no complaints. From the 11, five companies had complaints leaving six companies to interview by phone. During each review, I took copious notes with each customer service representative. Since most office personnel are non-technical nor 'field trained', I was limited to confirming the information I found on the internet and all administrative related questions (e.g. how long have you been in business, the quantity of roofers under contract, work backlog, turnaround/response time to any inquiries I will have, etc.). Of the six conversations, the representative that stood out the most was Howard Pinkston, from THC, based out of Reseda. Howard spoke courteously, seemed happy that I called, mentioned that he was respectful of my time and was able to answer every question...including a few technical questions. When I asked how much Los Angeles area recognition THC has, he stated they have excellent on-line reviews and are well established in the Los Angeles city and surrounding areas. In addition, he asked me to tune-in to the company's live internet streaming advertisement on 94.7 FM (The Wave) radio at the scheduled times he gave me. What impressed me most about Howard, was when I mentioned our century old home, he became very enthusiastic about the job and asked that he would really appreciate it if I give THC a chance to provide a proposal/quote. He stated that he wanted to show how THC can really provide excellent customer support on even old historic homes. Note: A week or so later, after speaking with Matt, the THC territory representative, I found out Howard not only answers the telephone when in the office, but is also the company owner.

I can highly recommend Trusted Home Contractors. Their pricing is very reasonable, their work is excellent and they were on the job just a few days after we called. We hired THC to repair and re-tile the balconies in our condominium and Paul, the company's representative, delivered -- going above and beyond the services we contracted for! THC threw in termite treatments, extra sealers and even cleaned and painted the stucco around the balconies -- all for free. With the wide array of services they provide, with their close, on-site supervision and their expert work - our HOA has selected Trusted Home Contractors as our go-to for all upcoming work.
