What I appreciate about True Care Services is that we operate on a half-day schedule. Our usual hours run from 7 in the morning until 7 at night. The fact that we've sustained our business for three decades highlights our versatility and commitment. I value the responsibility of finding creative solutions to ensure we can support several families during tough times. It’s important to be firm yet empathetic, which can be a tricky balance.

I’ve had the privilege of watching young men start with us and evolve in their careers. It’s a true gift to witness this growth. I feel blessed to observe how this path has evolved. I wish my late wife Leslie could be here to experience this. Leslie was the best office manager I’ve ever known.

I had the privilege of working for a wise, traditional roofer in Houston. Ellis Clepper of Tex Flex Roofing mentored me for four years. I was eager to start my own roofing repair and replacement company. With his blessing, I embarked on my own venture. We remain good friends to this day. Before long, TCS grew to 15 full-time employees and achieved a solid six-figure monthly revenue. We took on roofing jobs for restaurants and apartment complexes in Texas and Louisiana. To make a long story short, my wife passed away unexpectedly at 29 in July 2005. I was caught off guard by that tragedy. In 2007, I returned to Lubbock, where I grew up, and began to rebuild my life. All is well now.

In 2009, we ventured into tree removal and trimming to complement our roofing services. I feel comfortable managing two smaller-scale companies. We know our boundaries and stay within them. I cherish Lubbock and its people. I am eager for the opportunities that are on the horizon. Thank you, True Fullingim.
