My parents were in need of a new roof and we went with Troy roofing.  The price was not the highest or the lowest,  but Jaron made a good impression with my dad and so we chose Troy Roofing.  Jaron answered all of our questions and always answered his phone calls, texts and emails promptly!

The process was smooth and he kept us in the loop every step of the way. He was also very patient with my dad and I appreciated that. I would definitely recommend Troy  Roofing! If you can, ask for Jaron!

I found Troy Roofing through the help of Yelp. After a few new roof quotes from other companies, we decided on Troy Roofing. They were not the cheapest, but they provided the most for my money (like the warranty, you don't go cheap on certain things!) They are very professional, and offer competitive quality work.

I appreciate the owner Troy, and his team for their services and communication throughout the entire project. Special thanks to Jaron as well, he was the first contact I had for my estimate. They have gone above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied.

BEWARE! Troy and his roofing company are a bunch of scammers looking to take advantage of the construction boom and screw innocent homeowners over with their unprofessionalism and unskilled labor. They may brag about how they don't hire subcontractors to do their work, however, their whole crew comes straight from the parking lot of the closest Home Depot and damages to your home are a guaranteed result. When we told Troy and his general manager Anthony about the damages done to our roof by their crew, they immediately became all combative and tried to find any means possible to say it wasn't their fault and that they wouldn't be held responsible for the cost of the repair. Luckily, we had before and after photos and were able to point out their BS lies.

Also, LOOKOUT for the 5-star reviews left by Biviana A. and others as a majority of them are all Troy's employees writing these fake reviews. Unfortunately, we didn't find this out until we hired them.

Troy, this is for you. It's time for you to get up out of your office chair and do some quality control on your job sites. Both you and your general manager like to constantly play phone tag when the homeowner has a concern, and this is wrong. Innocent homeowners should not have to put up with the BS lies and unprofessionalism coming from your company. Nor should the homeowner be responsible for fixing major damages done by your crew.

I had a small roof leak after a small rain shower. The water would drip into the attic electrical wiring tripping the circuit breakers and unable to reset. All the lights in the house would go out.

I called Troy Roofing regarding the roof leak and a major storm coming within a week.
An appointment was available for 2 days later. The roof ""Inspector"" arrived on time. I showed the ""inspector"" the water spots on the kitchen ceiling. He then went outside onto the roof for inspection.
I told him 10 years ago I had a leak in the same spot and was caused by cracked caulking around a vent pipe. He told me that the leak could be in the valley of the roof or anywhere.

I was told that I have a single roof. By law you are allowed a second roof but they prefer to perform a complete tear off and replacement.
I had also discovered a leak in the garage and had him look at the garage roof. Again he said it was hard to tell where the leak is coming from.

I asked if they tarp roofs and was told no. I was also told the earliest they could come back out would be 3 weeks.
I asked for a quote for a repair and a quote for a new roof. The ""inspector"" asked for my email so he could send the quotes.

After the ""inspector"" left i climbed on the roof. I'm no expert ""inspector"" but noticed the caulking around the vent pipe was badly cracked.
I went to Home Depot and purchased a $12 can of Flex Seal and 10x25 tarp. Sprayed Flex Seal around the vent pipe and tarped the garage roof. Two major storms later, No Leaks!

Well it's been 28 days and i have yet to receive a quote for a roof repair and a roof replacement.

On the bright side, it was a Free ""Inspection"" but then you get what you pay for.
The one star is for the ""inspector"" being on time for the appointment.

Short Version: Troy roofing ""repaired"" my roof and then the roof leaked in the exact same spot after the first heavy rain post repair. Troy roofing refused to honor their warranty because I had installed solar panels on a DIFFERENT part of the roof. Employees of Troy roofing are very passive aggressive and do not respect the customer's time. Multiple ""no call, no shows"" from them. Multiple times when they showed up late. Multiple times where they said they were going to call me back and never did. Multiple times where I explained something to one person and then had to re-explain it to every other person I talked to because apparently no one shares information. They dragged me along for as long as possible and then ghosted me right before a major rainstorm leaving me scrambling to find someone to tarp the roof. If you still decide to use Troy roofing after reading this DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. Take pictures of your roof prior to them showing up and insist on everything in writing. Do not trust them to honor their word.

I know Troy roofing will try to dismiss what I say or use personal attacks against me so I'm also including link to a google doc with the long version so people can see the complete story. I'm a Navy veteran, I've owned 4 homes, I've been a Mechanic Engineer for over a decade, I've done tons of repair work and worked with a bunch of different contractors. Troy roofing is in the running for worst contractor I've ever dealt with.

They will get back to you quickly and show up immediately. I sense that they are just out there to make money. A rep threw in a price that was higher than my other bids and he did not bother to negotiate or make a deal. Rogue profit seekers. That's three stars - on time, communicative, and blunt.

My wife and I decided to go solar in our home and upon inspection prior to starting the plans we were informed that our roof needed to be redone as it was pretty old and had some leaks, they referred us to Troy Roofing and immediately we were contacted by their friendly staff, the next day they were at our home measuring and gave us an estimate, the original plan was just to do the section where the solar system would go but after discussing w my wife we decided to do the whole house, they gave us the estimate and it was such a good honest price we decided to move forward, they are very professional with their service, they sent us over an email containing information and the colors that we could chose from. After choosing our color, they dealt w the city for the permits we literally did nothing but sit back and wait, they work really fast with removing the old roof and cleaning up and then installation the guys did such an amazing job! We decided to go w the black color and the made sure to match all of the vents so it could look uniform, the way they laid out the design and the attention to detail we are seriously so happy with how everything turned out, the manager who supervised the project went above and beyond! If we had questions they answered us immediately. Everyone works hard and fast. I never would have thought I'd be raving about our new roof but if you're looking for amazing customer service. Professionalism, and great quality work, Troy roofing is your go to. Also they don't charge an arm and a leg considering how expensive everything is right now!!!

I cannot recommend this company and it's team more! I'm absolutely happy with the whole process including the timing of start to finish. Everyone is nice and communicative which is a big plus right now. Pricing and quality is great.

Good quality work for reasonable cost. Some customer service issues, but that was resolved with a compromise.
