We recently started looking for a roofer, and Trotter was one of the first companies we decided to get estimates from. After calling and leaving a message with their answering service, it took 2 days for someone in their offices to call. They set up an appointment with a contractor named Daniel for February 18th. He came on the right day, late, but seemed knowledgeable, and told my husband he would get him the estimates by the following Monday. We have not heard back from him. After numerous telephone calls, and email, my husband has since called another company to come out to give an estimate. On Monday, March 7th, I called the Trotter telephone number to let them know that their ""contractor"" was not following through with his job, and left ANOTHER message with their answering service. I guess they don't need the business, because no has called back. Thanks for nothing. I'll be sure NOT to tell people about you.
Anne B.06-17-2015 I have not had a satisfactory experience with Trotter Roofing, as well. I initially found them on the Better Business Bureau's website, and called them because they were reasonably close by.
They missed the scheduled appointment. I received a call from Tim Trotter, who was very nice, and apologetic, telling me that the estimator had an emergency come up and was unable to make it, as did Tracy, the gal I spoke with in the office, so I would have to wait until the following day to be contacted and a new appointment scheduled. Meanwhile, a week has gone by and I never received another call.
While I was understanding of the situation, as unexpected things do come up in life, I feel that another attempt should have been made to reschedule. If I have to chase them down just to make an appointment for an estimate, I can only imagine how frustrating it might be to complete an actual job.
Sorry, Tim ... for all of your pleasantness, your staff is letting you down.
Lin K.Someone called today, two days after the missed scheduled appointment and left a message on my voice mail. He said he missed the appointment for today (?) and it was his fault and to call him back. No chance.
Major fail.
