I wanted to leave them 0 stars. They ""repaired"" a leak on my roof 2 years ago. They went on my roof for 5 mins then said it was done. I called them once 2 months after the repair addressing the problem (because the very first rain after the repair came about 2 months later), they came and did another 5 min ""repair"", still didn't fix problem when it rained again months later. I didn't bother to call them again cause first they aren't gonna fix it right and second it rained about only 3 times in one year within their warranty frame.

I found this company online when I was researching companies to install a new composition shingle roof on my mobile home. I had been in the roofing industry when I was younger so I knew what I wanted and also the whole process of applying a new roof.

Tri City was one of four estimates that I got. I was very impressed with the way they were so prompt at getting out to estimate my roof (next day) and also with the proposal that they submitted. I really enjoyed the fact that I received emails as well as a folder of materials pertaining to my roof.

On the day they were to start the crew arrived on time and I was able to talk with their foreman Oscar. He was great to work with and was very helpful with working out a counter flashing issue I had concerns with over two different metal awnings.

The tear-off was finished within in a few hours then inspection then they began to install the new roof. Everything went smooth as clock work. What amazed me the most was that they completed the roof including new gutters in one day.

As far as additional costs it was me who added to my original quote because of how I wanted the counter flashing done. Again kudos to Oscar for working with me on that one. There wasn't much clean up as the crew worked very neatly. Having been in the industry I've seen the bad and the good. These guys were top notch in my opinion. From the girls in the office to the guys on the roof I was impressed. And this is from a picky know it all who thought he would have to play supervisor over the whole process.

My wife has been a realtor in Fremont for 30 years. She has recommended Tri-City Roofing to her clients for many years. She has never had a complaint from anyone of her clients. When it was time for us to replace our 25 year old shake roof we called Greg for an estimate. His response was prompt and professional. They started on the scheduled date and were done in 2 1/2 days. We are very pleased with the work. Our neighbors have complimented us on our new roof. The work was done fast and meticulous. We were impressed by the way the workers cleaned up before they left. We are very satisfied with the result and highly recommend their services.

Tri-City Roofing was professional and helpful when we had to fix the roof on the new house that we purchased a year ago. Since then they made repairs related to termites and general loose tiles on our roof. They were also responsive later on when they came out to put in new vents and replace flashing on top of a kitchen vent that had problems during a storm. Recently we wanted to get a quote on the gutters and we were told that they don't do gutters unless they also do a job on the roof at the same time. I was surprised that they are not willing to work on gutters, which is a bit disappointing but I was told that they subcontract this kind of work out, so that's something to note if you are looking for gutters only.

As a result of getting gutter estimates from other roofers, I have been told that my previous roofer did a poor job as nails were sticking through the eaves , which would cause water to leak. Greg was very responsive and came out to look at the problem with the people who worked on our roof and determined that the issue was not created by their repairs but part of the original work on the roof. Greg also reassured me that the problem is aesthetic and won't cause any issues with leaks and I do appreciate how they followed up and explain things to me. I judge a business based on how they respond to issues and they have been a good local Fremont business for me to deal with.

They just finished our re-roof of our asphalt shingle roof.
They removed three layers dating back to 1976 then took care of all of the problems that they found including lots of dry rot, bad flashings, improper sloping and construction errors. They added downspouts that probably should have been there in the first place. The job was finished on-time in two days and the roof looks great. Five stars.

I am very impressed with Tri City Roofing(TCR) company. From the first call their service has been outstanding. I was almost going to go with another company, but at the last minute, I decided to take a chance on them since a neighbor used them. I wanted the same roof and my neighbor provided me with TCR's info.

I called on a Friday and left a message. Within what seemed like 5 minutes, I received a call back, discussed what I was looking for and was told some one would possibly be out the same day or the next for the quote. Within a couple hours, a quote was emailed, and a formal proposal was hand delivered. I was uncertain about a couple things so the next day Greg came out to discuss my concerns. Everything was clarified and we decided to move forward.

The following Monday I talked with the staff and finalized the proposal, signed off and scheduled the work. What impressed me was the thoroughness and diligence of the staff to make sure I understood everything and that I was happy with everything decided.

Today they are wrapping up the job and again, the people were great and hard working especially during this surprising heat wave in April. I had my entire roof and gutters replaced, replaced my skylight in the kitchen, added a sun tunnel in the hallway and front bath since there isn't a window and chose GAF Timberline HD because they had the color I liked. TCR price also came in almost $2500 less for the same roof with the other company.

As far and the roofing process, we did a walk through to see all the old/bad boards that needed to be replaced.

I was a little reluctant at first to go with TCR because of their overall 3 star rating, but there were several 5 stars so I decided it wouldn't hurt to get another quote. I was so glad I did! Thanks to everyone on the TCR team!

This is a very well run company! I manage commercial property in Menlo Park. One building has been plagued by a small leak which was ""fixed"" by three different roofers over the last two years. I turned to Consumer's Checkbook to try another roofer. I picked Tri-City as it had very good ratings. Read on and you will see why.....
The office staff is courteous and efficient, the owner bid the project in a timely manner, the work crew communicated with the renter and completed the job in the estimated time. I was emailed the invoice and told to please call right away if there were any further problems. During this last heavy rain, Tri-City called me to follow-up and make sure the roof was not leaking. Amazing!! (The leak has been fixed, but it took a second visit to complete the repair.) I will definitely recommend them as well as use them in the future.

This company is great! From start to finish, they were fantastic! I interviewed many roofers, and I got a very favorable impression when the owner/manager came out: knowledgeable, flexible, gave us many alternatives and showed up on time! They were not the least expensive, but on the lower side of all the quotes I received.

The office staff was always attentive, courteous and responsive. When they said someone would return a call in a few hours, that's exactly what happened.

The work was done promptly and as scheduled. The crew was always aware of keeping our property clean -- from putting tarps under the truck in case of an oil leak; to cleaning roofing debris; to picking up nails on the ground with a magnet. This was done EVERY day! (OK -- so we did find a few scraps in the bushes at the end -- no big deal).

We did have a small problem -- details are not that important. The point is that they said they would make it right, and that our satisfaction was the most important thing. I've heard that line many times before ... Tri-City meant it! Not once did they try to evade the issue, point fingers elsewhere, etc. It was fixed and it was done right.

We really like the new roof and the process of getting it. All in all, a great product and a great experience!

This company does not respect the neighborhoods it works in. Our neighbors were getting their roof worked on today and the company had parked one of its vehicles in front of our house. When my husband asked kindly it they would move one of their trucks the employee went off cursing my husband and stating that he's free to park where ever he wants!!!! As someone who understands that customer service and polite employees are most definatly the first impression to the public, as most often you never deal or meet with the owners, I am shocked and appalled at this companies employees response to a simple request!! I have lived here my entire life and this is a business within in my community. Too bad for Fremont.

I want to give a zero star but unfortunatly yelp does not allow me to do this.

They were prompt, neat and fast. They re-roofed my home in 2 1/2 days. It involved stripping a tile roof, making wood repairs, installing new barge rafters, and laying a new 50 year composition roof. They also facilitated the installation of new insulation, and removed plywood as necessary to spray the new insulation into the cathedral ceiling areas of my home. I found everyone I dealt with at Tri-City to be courteous and very professional from the owner to the foreman to the office staff. Their price was right on par with the other bids I received, and they did not nickel and dime me for damage we found during the process. They cleaned up each day, and the job looks great. I couldn't recommend them more highly. Thanks Tri-City; I am a very satisfied customer.
