Tri-City Roofing was so easy to work with. The owner came out to look at our roof the same day we called and by end of business day a free quote was made available. The owner and office staff were so friendly and helpful. The installers were the best. They were efficient, respectful and professional. The job took 3 days and all debris was cleaned up at the end of each work day. I highly recommend Tri-City Roofing for a job well done.

When having to do big House project budgets and quality work is always what you think first. Our roof was in ok condition but we an issue on one side of the house with a leak that would develop after heavy rainfall. And with this climate change it has been often.
A few of our neighbors had new roof I spoke to them and asked about their experience. From the 10 Neighbors we spoke to one company was mentioned and that was Tri-City.
I did get estimates from two other companies. Greg came out to meet me and we went over what would be done. I did mention that I had a problem area and may be the wood would need to be replaced. He said once the roof would be stripped and he would share his finding and all repairs would be made to code. His price was competitive and expected results would be to what I expect.
Oscar and his team came out. They were professional and efficient. My biggest concern was as they stripped The roof I wanted to make sure I had no nails left in the yard. I have children, My kids often play out in the yard and I do have two little ones will tend to wander out without shoes sometimes. Your biggest concern can be stepping on a nail that has been rusted. The day the roof was being stripped We left as t was loud and noisy. when we returned I was very pleased to find not a single nail was to be found. my husband came home and hour before they finished and he found the guy walking around with a metal detector to make sure not a single mail was left behind. They covered and cleaned up efficiently.
Greg directed me to pick my roof from his wholesaler, whom I will leave a review for as well. We choose the presidential, shingle, grey black roof. We had options from tiles vs shingle but after being educates I was won over with shingles. And I choose my siding and gutters.
Over all it took about a week. They did damage control by replacing plywood in areas of concern and any molded, weak, rotten wood was replaced.
We did run into surprised but I wasn't hit with a crazy high bill for it. He was fair.
I couldn't be more happier with the result. We had it done in summer and we are coming close to a year. Yes I waited on my review only Because I wanted to see how the roof would withhold the rain. With climate change my roof has held up superb. Me and my neighbor are two happy customer.
One advantage of having a excellent roof Is I'm always a high candidate for solar panels. Every solar sales person who walks the street says your roof quality makes us good candidates. I can smile and yes, I know.

We just got our new roof finished last Friday, complete with new gutters and downspouts, and we could not be happier with Tri City for doing everything they said they would do, right on time, were very courteous and cleaned up every scrap before they left.
Now for the real reasons we loved their work: They checked in with us at any part of the job they thought we would want to know about, like where certain downspouts were going to go, or why they did one spot a certain way...I don't know anything about roofing but it was professional of them to include us in the process. Also, I didn't expect them to replace the exposed plumbing and heating vents with nice black ones that go well with the shingles we chose.
They also did not want any money up front, just the whole bill due upon completion of the job. Other companies I had contacted for bids were asking for monies to be paid as they worked, with maybe just 1/4 of the bill left when they finished. I didn't really care for that attitude. With Tri City, they finished the job and had the place all cleaned up and we had a chance to check it out before handing them a check. To me that shows they trust their own work completely.
Oh, did I mention I would recommend them? Absolutely.

I had a water leak in one of my bedrooms that was near the entryway roof - as soon as I noticed it and since it was raining we called our roofing contractor in Hayward - They referred us to the warranty department since we had a roof warranty - which was located in NJ

Took them several days to respond - finally the call center asked Local Hayward roofer to inspect - he did some tests and said roof is OK - but maybe caulking or siding

Called in a water damage company in North Fremont and they used Thermal imaging and said it is a roof leak

With roofer stating is is siding/caulking issues & the water damage company insisting it is roof - time to call for another opinion / roofer - it had been pouring past several weeks

Marco from Tri-City responded and taking a quick look said we got to open the ceiling sheet rock to figure out whats going on - under 10 minutes he said conclusively it is a plumbing leak !!

Called the plumbing company and got the leak fixed - Wish I had used Tri-City roofing as my roofer when I got my roof done - Terrific customer service by Marco/Tri-City

I am very satisfied with Tri-City Roofing for the following reasons:
The quick weekend meeting with the owner when I was worried about the leaks the roof of two of my properties and the impending rain.
The fairly priced quotes by Monday. Second lowest of 5 Quotes.
The help by Jeannine with help signing the paperwork to accept the quotes, giving me addresses to visit with shingles I picked and help matching colors for the gutters and downspouts. Thanks Jeannine!
Quickly repairing the leaks before the rain the next day!
No leaks during the rain.
Finish two houses roofs in between two rain storms in 3.5/4 days and a week earlier than originally scheduled!
Replacing four skylights for a reasonable price.
Fixing some unforeseen inside damage at no additional cost.
Work crew cleaning up each day before going home. And done well.
I hope everyone who reads this review can tell that Tri-City Roofing business makes it's money by valuing customer satisfaction, doing a job right and guaranteeing their work.

I highly recommend Tri-City Roofing. On the same day as my call, the owner assessed my problem, and provided an estimate and statement of work that evening. The office staff was friendly and efficient, answering my calls and questions promptly. To their credit, not once did they let my stress over a leaking roof impact their level of service.

The actual repairs to my roof were expertly done, so much so that my neighbor came over to admire the job afterwards. The repaired area just blended so seamlessly with the old roof! The crew was also fantastic about the clean-up; the work area was left spotless.

From intake to completion, everything about this company was professionally done.

How have I not left a review before?
Well seeing that my roof was replaced in 2011 and I still have them come give the roof a once over and clean the gutters yearly. I think that speaks volumes.
Not only have I had TriCity replace my roof... But they are now my Dad's go to roofing needs company. AND I have referred them to my friends to use. The best review a company can get is someone continuing to be a customer and referring others to use their business.
PS - They even work with my dogs. With a little scheduling heads up and information on the dogs the company and workers are very accommodating!!

I am writing this review today to share an experience of extraordinary customer service. After roofing my home, I discovered what potentially could be a warranty issue. I called the company and got a warm response and a visit to my home from the owner. After reviewing the work, the owner, without hesitation, got his foreman over to take care of it. Then, when I inspected the work when I got home, I had questions. Again, I was met with prompt and courteous service. They again came back on time and repaired it professionally and quickly without issue.

Sometimes, you learn more about a company when there is a problem then if there were no problem at all. I would highly recommend Tri-City roofing for the way that they handled my project.
