Our founder, David Fincher has been a local arborist in the Austin area for almost two decades and has scaled for most of his life. Hailing from a family that loves sports like mountaineering and paragliding, ascending trees with a chainsaw in hand seemed second nature for young David Fincher as he aspired to evolve into a skilled climber. Complex jobs that involve technical rigging setups have intrigued David throughout his path. Many years of experience and numerous courses on climbing techniques and rigging have awarded David with in-depth knowledge of how to safely execute what would otherwise be highly hazardous extractions of large trees in difficult locations. David also has a genuine love for the trees themselves and their vitality. He keeps the belief that trees are essential living beings and recognizes that his actions are essential to their well-being for many years to come.
