I had the best experience with TR construction!! They were absolutely wonderful- start to finish. They installed exhaust fans in our bathrooms, replaced our entire roof, and installed gutters for us. They were efficient and made the jobs painless. They did our roof in less than 4 days and did a great job cleaning up. Everyone was kind and professional. The roof and gutters look beautiful and I couldn't be happier with their work!! I will definitely use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone!

TR Construction was recommended by a former employee of the company who had done some electrical work for us. Although I noticed a trend of declining Yelp ratings I decided to give them a shot. Tony came out the very next day and he was as engaging, knowledgeable and informative as others have described him. He explained that his company had recently completed a project very similar to what we had in mind and made many perceptive suggestions. He said that he'd be at his desk, ""in two hours"" and would get to work on an estimate right away. Well, that was the last we heard from TR Construction. Our experience sort of fits the trend, I guess.

I needed to completely remodel the two bathrooms, kitchen and move a wall.
I schedule an appointment with two weeks in advance. They knew I was traveling from Los Angeles to San Diego to meet with them.
At the exact time of our appointment I got a phone call from TR Constructions. They say that they are very busy right now and that the parking space is going to be a problem for them because they usually work with houses.
After take all my information, with the location and knowing that I was requesting for a remodeling in a condominium.
Very impolite and unprofessional.

We were in the market for a roofing job. We had 3 estimates from contracting companies including TR. When I met with the staff at TR I was very impressed. It is a family run business that is friendly and responsive. I was able to meet both the office staff that coordinated the job and the actual roofers that did the work. Their quote was reasonable for the reroofing job we needed done. We have a large tile roof and they did an amazing job from start to finish on the work. It is now over a year and a half after the initial job and we are very pleased. It is a very stressful endeavor to find quality craftsman that will do a good job and take pride in their work. Luckily we now have TR construction as a go to company for our home repairs.

Read the reviews on Yelp. Called to schedule an appt. Very friendly office staff. Set the appt for over a week out (so they could schedule appts in the same area), for an estimate to finish work left by previous contractor and to do a new bathroom build. Office called the night prior to confirm our address and meeting time. They were scheduled for between 1-1:30 today.

At exactly 1:30, the office called to say that with their schedule, "" they did not believe they could service us in a timely manner"". TOTALLY UNPROFFESIONAL. We moved other commitments around to accomodate their schedule, and they called WHEN THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE to say they were not interested. It would have been nice to know that anytime BEFORE the scheduled meeting time. Like maybe even the night before when they called to confirm the appt time. I understand people don't like coming in cleaning up after someone else, but they should have been up front and said that instead of scheduling an estimate appt, calling to confirm, etc. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Our landlord hired TR Construction to replace the roof on our house. It seems they've done a good job on the roof, however the entire experience was awful. If you want someone who gets the job done, this company is good for that. However, if you want to be stuck with a huge mess to clean up after they leave - don't bother. They didn't tarp inside the garage and now all of our belongings are covered in asphalt-shingle dust, nails, and debris. Nor did they pick up after themselves in the yard either, and left plastic bottles, trash, debris, nails etc... Prep and clean-up definitely should have been better managed as the poor job they did there has outshone the work they actually did do.

TR Construction just finished my remodel and it came out excellent. I first found TR Construction after a terrible experience with one of those ripoff phone solicitor companies. A friend recommended their work after a job they did for him. The owner from the company Tony came out and gave me a very fair estimate for a difficult job. I knew from the beginning that Tony was a fair and sincere person that I could trust. My job was not an easy one. Last year a tree root from my neighbors property completely cracked my slab to the point where the slab was raised about six inches through the middle of my bedroom,bathroom,and a second bedroom. TR Construction had to remove over 1000 square foot of the slab. I took advantage and had them add a large master bath and walk in closet to the house as well as new HVAC system and new roof. Everyone that I worked with throughout the process from the lead carpenter Cramer, tile installer Isais, plumber Ed, HVAC Don, painter Jorge, electrician Ishmael, cleaning crew and roofing crew did excellent work. It's not often you can get anything done and be completely satisfied, but I can say TR Construction hit the mark. I never right reviews but I thought this was a job well worth it. The price was very fair and the professionalism was above the top. I want to pay special praise also to the office staff Linda and Teresa who were not only very helpful and courteous but also called me throughout the process to schedule different people as they came out. It's funny because my son has been in construction for a few years and was so impressed with the company that he decided to leave his old job and join their team. I will not only use TR Construction again I will recommend them to all my friends which to me is the ultimate compliment.

TR is a great company that provides thorough service. We've had several improvements done by them (roof, patio cover, tiling the house, kitchen remodel, front door replacement).

Tony is affable, honest, and forthright. He hits his budget estimations too, which is great. No gotchas there. You'll usually see him at the start for the bid, and he'll visit when the job is done. The rest of the crew is great. Shout out to Angel for being a crew chief; keeping things orderly and making sure when his guys leave the place looks cleaner than when he got there. Even when he demo'ed our kitchen, you couldn't find a leftover nail after he was done.

I'd point out that during the kitchen remodel, they were fine with whatever materials sourcing we wanted to do. We got out own cabinets and countertops, and they modified the pricing to account for that (if not, they could handle those jobs too, we just wanted to save some money using Ikea cabinets and prefab countertops).

Give Tony a call and let him estimate your job, he deserves a chance to get earn your business.

I had a great experience with this company. We were so pleased to find a company that would take on our somewhat small job. They replaced water rotted beams supporting my patio roof. They did a timely estimate, then sent the crew foreman out a couple of days before the job. He determined that an additional beam needed to be replaced after doing a detailed check for additional water damage. We were not surprised and agreed with that. They did the work quickly, explained everything in detail, made a special trip to the high-end paint store to get the paint we needed, and cleaned up completely. The office staff was very professional with phone calls, emails, and invoicing. I would recommend this company 100 percent.
