Just had my roof installed by TR Construction. The team of workers were amazing! The tear off team was meticulous with protecting my property from any roof debris. My entire yard had tarps and all debris was cleaned up. They also went to my neighbors to check there yard as well. The clean up was amazing. They were truly a professional team. The roofers exceeded my expectations. Professional and worked diligently to get my roof finished before the scheduled timeframe. Again, meticulous clean up. My roof looks amazing!!!! So glad I hired TR Construction. I would highly recommended this company.

arrived on time kept my roof water tight at all times. The way my home is- painters had to walk on clay tiles- and the roofing team picked up behind them seamlessly.
i have rain gutters and they painted behind them without dismantling them and protected my windows and doors. They spent four plus weeks- meticulously working around weather and product shortage- tiles. They had to walk an entire roof side of tiles- because the tile delivery was on ground and not on roof. Nothing fazed this team. They are the best. My roofer used a specialized concrete colored to match my roof tiles- his own creation. All in all- TR construction should be your company for all your construction needs. Locally owned, they are licensed and bonded and never subcontract their work- they leave worksite clean everyday. God Bless them for taking care of my 33 year old home. I should say- I had no leaks or issues- just age of my home that prompted the project. I could never say thanks enough.

I had TR Construction replace a part of my roof before adding panels. They had to delay one week because of rain but was able to come the following week and finished the job in a day. Roof looks great, Mike was great to work with and the price was fair.

We are very pleased with T.R. Construction. All employees were courteous and professional. Workmanship was in accordance with material supplier's instructions. Roofing was secured weathertight every evening. Heavy rain and strong winds encountered during the job were not a problem.

My job was a lift and replace tile roofing. Mike was the project manager. In the bidding process Mike was exceptional and made a good faith effort to pre-price wood replacement. His estimates were very close to the final count - amazing as much of the wood could not be inspected. Mike was careful to address all of our concerns. The single final inspection item was addressed within a few days.

If you have a roofing project - I recommend you call these folks up and get a proposal. They were very competitive pricewise and we felt comfortable working with them. They did not disappoint.

The paper on our roof was the original, nearly 35 years old, and well past the time to replace it.

We had grown tired of hiring for one-off repairs and were looking to hire a general contractor who could fix the majority, if not all, of the work we wanted done around our home. We got quotes from multiple contractors for the roof, and we went with TR Construction.

What we initially liked:
- family run
- local (we live in Mira Mesa)
- diverse workforce
- they had patched the roof for us about 10 years prior and the patch held
- 10 year warranty on the roof

What we liked about TR Construction compared to other contractors:
- double layers of 40 lb paper
- quote included an estimate of the wood that would likely need to be replaced (most other contractors' quotes didn't include the price of wood so we had no indication how high the ultimate cost would be)
- quote included painting any installed wood and reinstalling the rain gutters (some contractor's quotes did not include the paint and rain gutters, we'd have to hire someone else for that or do it ourselves)
- assured us that the roof would be water proof at end of each day, so we'd be in good shape if it rained overnight (and it did)
- Mike was prompt and friendly during consultation and communicative afterwards too!
- offered to do, and did, a patch job for our active leak ahead of the full roof since they were 10-12 weeks out

What we liked about their service:
- covid protections: crew was masked and distant when on the ground
- estimates were pretty close! They got to us 10 weeks after we signed the contract. They used a bit more wood than estimated, but it was within reason and honestly I thought they would use much more than that. They were done within a week, as they predicted.
- crew was friendly and prompt! Bryan was very helpful in explaining where they were in the process. They worked from about 7:30am to 5:00pm each day, with a lunch break.
- crew cleaned up the worksite every day. They kept the supplies around, and they swept up the debris so we weren't walking through a construction zone each night

We're glad we went with TR Construction! We already told Mike that we wanted a quote for the next project. We look forward to working with them again soon!

I called TR Construction about a granny flat being built. I don't know anything about what costs are or how this works and I let the person that answered the phone know this. She was polite and nice and suggested to let her boss Tony call me. When he called me I had questions reference how financing worked. This guy is a money hungry jerk who has no time to explain or answer any questions. If you don't have money or make any inclination that you have money he doesn't want to talk to you. He was rude, and then said he was going to call me back but I knew he wasn't. If I could call him a few explicit names I would! His company was just the first I happened to call in trying to find out how things worked and he left a really bad taste in my mouth for contractors. Money hungry sleeze of a jerk that cares nothing about the customer but more of show me the money up front then I will answer your questions.

Excellence is what describes TR Construction. From beginning to end our experience with TRC was excellent. We hired TRC to repair our roof that had started to reveal leakage after hard rains. They were professional and positive from first contact and scheduling to final cleanup. They were very knowledgeable and equipped to assess the root cause of our particular problem. They were capable of articulating the problem and solution. They had a clear understanding of our roof materials and what was required to assure a quality result. They're workmanship was no less impressive. This is a company that knows what they are doing.
