Recommended Customer Reviews

This was perhaps the worst service experience that I have ever had. When they put on the roof, they neglected to complete it. When they came to finish, they left part of the roof open during a severe thunderstorm and flooded my living room. They sent people out for repairs but the work done on the ceiling was inadequate and started coming off. When I asked for a small reimbursement, to fix the ceiling, they refused. They incorrectly blamed me and kept referring to leaking skylights which had nothing to do with it! The worst part was their failure to communicate. At first, there was someone to call who would help. After that, phone calls were almost never returned (same with most emails). The staff turnover was constant especially after they were purchased by Angi. Just a warning, don't expect good or any customer service if you hire them! That concept is apparently not part of their work ethic.

We had them to install a roof for us and they destroyed our driveway and once they removed the old roof it came a down pour and water leaked through the ceiling. the building permit is still on the house. I have reached out to them over and over to get these items repaired so they can be paid, sent pictures of the issues, they were not fast on getting back to me to resolve the issues, but was fast to put a lien on my house. I feel that they shouldn't be paid until work is done to satisfaction. I would not recommend this company.

I worked with Jason Darr, on my rental property in Orange Park Fl. He responded to all my questions and answered them to my liking. I will tell all my friends about this company.... I am really impressed with the professionalism that I encountered with Jason... ty very much , Scott Noel

Jeremy did a great job. Am hoping that everything else also goes well.

I had a total roof done just over a year ago.
They new there was an area where there had been past problems.
It was not addressed, an I continue to have issues that they are trying to get out of fixing.
What roofer puts on a new roof and does not address flashing?
Have spoken to them multiple times in the past few weeks, and they are blowing me off.
Speaking to my lawyer this coming week. Filing a complaint with the Florida consumer division of the Department of Agriculture.
Filing a complaint with the BBB, and filing a complaint with the manufacturer of the shingles, even though that is not the issue.
Maybe the shingle manufacturer will give them grief because it is their brand that gets pulled into it because they do business with such a bad company as Total Home Roofing Scammers!
Oops, Total Home Roofing.

We were sold by an incredibly personable salesman, Jeremy. He was fantastic however the rest of the story was a nightmare! So many bad things to say about them but really just don't feel like going through the headache again. However I wish I would have read the review posted on here from January before committing. If you want details feel free to respond to this post. But I say DO NOT USE TOTAL HOME ROOFING!!

We hired Total Home Roofing to re-do our roof in Jan 2022. After final inspection, it was obvious that there were major flaws to the roof. There were waves and bubbles all over the roof. After being lied to by Manuel Ojeda from corporate office and Jerry Valentine a regional manager, Total Roofing finally admitted that the roof was faulty. They told me that the bubbles were caused by the peel and stick not adhering properly to the wood on the roof. So Total Roofing sent two workers to my home to try to rectify the problem. The two workers spent 4 hours and went through two bundles of shingles trying to get the peel and stick to adhere to the roof. (Later when I consulted with Owens Corning, who provided the materials for our roof, Jeff H in the warranty department told me that it was an ""installation error"" to install shingles over the peel and stick if it was not adhering properly. This is exactly what Total Roofing initially did)
On a different occasion Total Roofing sent two workers with a blow torch who worked on our roof for two hours to get the shingles to stick properly.
Finally, Jorge Guerron, production manager, stated that the roof was finished and asked for payment. Since I didn't trust Total Roofing due to the initial lying, I hired a roofer from another company to inspect the roof. He said it was terrible. When I told Jorge this, he told me to hire a ""wind mitigator"" since this person would be more impartial. So I did this, and the wind mitigator in her official report said that the roof was ""unsatisfactory"" and ""it would last less than one year"". When I showed Total Roofing this report, they basically abandoned us.
Brian Delaney, who said he was from Total Roofing's legal team, told me that Total Roofing is not responsible for any of this faulty work...only for leaks. He said our only recourse was to open a claim with Owens Corning to see if they would pay for a new roof. He then lied and told me that I had to pay Total Roofing before I could open a claim with Owens Corning. I knew this wasn't true. And holding back the money was my only leverage at this point.
I then complained to Better Business Bureau. But Total Roofing in response to my complaint stated ""the roof has been approved for replacement through owens corning"". This is an outright lie. No one has even sent in the roof samples and photos that Owens Corning needs to consider a claim. How can Total Roofing blatantly lie like this with no shame?
So next I hired a lawyer to send Total roofing an official letter asking them to take care of the faulty roof. Since Total Roofing is now owned by Angis, a large nationwide company with deep pockets, they in turn referred us to their law firm to handle this case. Their law firm answered with a refusal.
We had to spend an additional $2000.00 (two thousand dollars) in lawyer fees for just this initial letter. We know the expense would escalate greatly if we had to take them to court.
So, after 4 months of stress and sleepless nights, we decided to just pay for our roof and drop everything. Being 74 years old, I know that dealing with Total Home Roofing has taken a toll on our health. They won by wearing us down with lies, abandoning us, and using their lawyers so that we couldn't afford to pursue this any further
