Angi Total Home Roofing destroyed my 6 year old pool solar heating system, tore it up and thru it into a dumpster when the salesman and job site coordinator promised me it would be carefully removed and placed alongside my home. Also large 60 in^2 vents where replaced with 12 in^2 vent, which negated proper ventilation. When they replaced the 7 rectangular sky lights, they left them open and blew roof debris throughout the interior of our home. You can email or call them (get a recording) all you want, there will be no response period. If you hold money back for damages, they will not respond, discuss or deal with you, just pit a lien on your home. I have filed complaints with the BBB and FL Attorney generals office.

I would advice anyone needing roof work to carefully look at all reviews online, and stay away from Angi (Total Home Roofing)

My father got an estimate and signed a contract with Andy Ward from Total Home Roofing. He was very informative and although I am no expert, his quote seemed fair based on the amount of work that was needed. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we asked to cancel the contract and Andy was very understanding and allowed us to cancel. We picked this company based on the number of years that they have been in business and the great reviews that we have read. I am sure, based on Andy's professionalism, that we would have been satisfied with the work if we had gone forward. Thanks again Andy for your understanding and assistance.

I almost feel it's to early to write this since the job is nowhere near done BUT so far such a terrible experience. We were told dumpster would be left Tuesday and crews would start on Wednesday. There was no dumpster Wednesday so my husband called. They then set out a dumpster AND a dump truck with are both parked in my yard. (one on my parking pad and one on my lawn.
Thursday afternoon a crew showed up, took off the old roof and put down peel and stick. We know the next step was waiting for an inspection. they failed as they did not have proper documentation on our house.
The real reason I am so upset is on Friday I looked up to see a water spot on my ceiling. We instantly called and left a voicemail. It has been 8 days since then and we have yet to receive a callback or anyone trying to come out and fix the situation. We have each called an emailed multiple times.
When you call a receptionist say they will get someone to get back to you but no one does. When you call the sales persons cell phone and leave a message they do not call back.

I didn't use Total Home Roofing. My next door neighbor did. They started stripping the roof at 6:40am on a Sunday morning. They left debris all over the yard. The shingles were delivered before the roof was stripped. They worked a couple of days and then didn't show up for a week. Now, the roof has been almost finished, sitting untouched with the tar and shingles on it for two weeks. Two of my other neighbors are contacting roofers for estimates but neither one would even consider Total Home after what we have observed. I should think they would be ashamed to have their sign displayed, clearly stating what crappy company is doing the roof.

Poor to no communication. Ripped off our roof and was told they had shingles. No Shingles. Three corners had rotten wood on the facia, all were to be included in the repairs. Over 8 Weeks of emails, phones calls. They left debris on the lawn, we had to move it. Killed the newly planted turf on one side of the house. Left their full dumpster in front of the garage for over a week blocking our vehicle in the garage. They removed the lightning rods from the house and refused to reinstall them after installing the shingles. Asked if I had someone to come and complete the repairs they didn't finish. This is still in dispute after 3 months.

These are the most incompetent and terrible contractors you could ever hire. I have been dealing with a Warranty Issue for 6 months. The roof was leaking from the original installation and have sent several crews (over 6 times now) to patch up their work only to discover the leak is still there! The warranty department will never return your calls or emails. Do yourself a favor and choose anyone else to help you this is a giant corporate company that just does not care. Find a local roofer with local roots that still believes in doing a good job and still provides at least some level of customer service.

Gary came to set up the contract with us. He was reliable and knowledgeable. It was all downhill after that. Supervisor Eric never once came to talk to us. Crew of three did not speak a word of English so communication was impossible. Sloppy sloppy job. Tar all over walls of freshly painted house, driveway has rust all over it from dumpster that sat there for two weeks. Job finished 5 weeks ago and still waiting for Eric to show up for a project walkthrough. They won't see my $14,000 until someone shows up at my house and fixes the issues! Do not hire!

I had the worst experience with this company. I signed contract December 2020 so I could get ahead of the summer and the rain. As of July 2021 they have not finished my project. There was a complete lack of coordination, and they did not return any calls. Crews basically disapperaed for weeks, and only showed back up after sending multiple unanswered emails. On top of that they failed at least 4 city inspections, and the work had to be reviewed multiple times. I even have considered hiring a second company to finish the job. I had the issue escalated in Home advisor and in Angies list (as they were recommended by this sites and have good reviews there). I also raised a complain at the BBB to see if they could help. We have had a lot of stress as the roof was still in progress as the rain and summer storms started. Do yourself a favor and take this company off your list. I can provide further details for any one who is interested.

I am generally satisfied with the metal roof that Total Home Roofing Installed on my home. However, I found the company exceedingly hard to work with. I signed the contract July 20, 2020. The roof didn't pass final inspection until eight months later. I had several issues during the construction and Total was very slow to respond to my calls and emails. At one point months were passing and nothing was happening and I had to threaten legal action to get them to complete the job. I suspect I was dealing with a company bureaucracy that doesn't care much about customer service.

My list of reasons why you should NOT hire Total Home Roofing.
1) Delivery truck with shingles, left large holes in lawn.
2) Carried shingles over neighbors roof (with out permission) they did not like that.
3)Put roofing permit on wrong house.
4)Light fixtures fell on tear off of old shingles.
5) Roofed leaked before they were able to put on new shingles and caused unknown damage to the attic, walls and floor.
6)Whiskey (BOOZE) found on the roof when they were finished.
7)Could not communicate with workers ( they did not speak English).
8)Could not communicate with those in charge.
9)Attitude from those in charge like they are doing me a favor fixing what they did wrong.
10)Lanai leaks.
11)Clothes dryer vent we do not know, the inspector could not find the vent and Eric Kearce (Field Supervisor) sent someone who does not speak English to look at the problem, and tell us, I think he said ""every things OK"" were not sure. We do not know for sure.
12)Smoke detectors ruined from the water damage.
13)Dumpster left here for a month.
14)This was suppose to take two and a half days, according to the contract. It has been over a month and it still has not been approved by the Inspector.
15) Put on shingles while it was raining very hard.

Now Total Home Roofing came and pretended to fix some of these issues. But it is not enough and professionally unacceptable.

I have every intention of challenging payment for this living nightmare.
