The worst people and the worst company you can imagine...everything was wrong and it was DELEBERATE to try to rush the job. I fired them after the 1st day. I made the mistake of sending the payment for the material (5000.00). I should have just refused payment because the workers were incompetent, unskilled, ill-equipped, un-trained, and they were slobs. They used the gutter for the bathroom pissing on the roof all day and leaving it to stink up the whole pool area with urine and trash. I can tell you they cut every corner and made every mistake you can make on the 1st day. No tools, no ability to use the tools and cannot figure out anything except to make a mess out of any job. They caused more problems and should be run out of town. This is a corporation named ANGI....see Angi...better run the other way. Its a corporation and not a good one. In for the bucks only. ALSO....do your own inspections because the INSPECTORS DONT INSPECT. They signed off on bullshit they never looked at.

Terrible communication. Roofers damaged pool cage screens back in December 2022. We were told they would replace or reimburse for the damaged screens. Still have not honored that.

It will be 11 weeks tomorrow since Total Home Roofing started our roof. They are still not done - it didn't pass inspection last Wednesday, and still no one from the company has contacted us about when they will be out to fix the issues. Oh, except the accounting people calling (for the third time since November 16) and our salesperson (Rick Prince) via email wanting to collect payment.....Dealing with this company has been a NIGHTMARE - impossible to get anyone to respond to texts or calls. Brandon is the project supervisor and Jonathan is the site supervisor, and they NEVER RETURN TEXTS OR PHONE CALLS. DO NOT recommend this company at all - in fact, I suggest you avoid them at all costs, unless having a roof started on November 14 and tomorrow being January 30 and it's still not to the point where it will pass inspection sounds like your idea of a competent company.

I am beyond appalled and astonished at the level of negligence and irresponsibility displayed by Total Home Roofing. The company was informed that there was significant remodeling that had to be completed prior to the installation and replacement of the existing roofing system, and that the owner was going to contact them when the roofing installation would be appropriate. However, Total Home Roofing completely disregarded this information and recklessly appeared at the job site on September 23rd, 2022, laying all the materials for the roof replacement on top of the existing structure despite the forecast of Major Hurricane Ian which was already a named storm and forecast to make landfall between the Tampa/St Petersburg and Fort Myers area. The company should have never even arrived at the site when they did and should have known that the materials would be a hazard and a danger to the structure.

The result of this negligence was devastating, as on October 8th, the owner immediately discovered that the entire roof had collapsed and caused the structure to become extremely compromised. On October 10th, 2022, the City of Tampa Neighborhood Enhancement Division issued an emergency order to demolish the compromised structure as it posed a threat to neighboring structures. This left the owner with a bill in the amount of $15,495.00 for unavoidable demolition costs, and a commensurate lien on the property. To add insult to injury, on October 24th, 2022, more than two weeks after the date of the collapse, Total Home Roofing reached out to the owner with no knowledge of what happened at the job site. They told the client that they were going to file a police claim on the owner for stolen materials.

This complete lack of professionalism, disregard for safety, and utter disregard for the well-being of their clients is unacceptable and should be a warning to anyone considering using their services. I would never recommend this company to anyone and strongly caution anyone considering using their services to think twice before entrusting them with their home. If you value the safety and integrity of your home, then stay far away from Total Home Roofing.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They damaged our ceilings, driveway, and garage door! They have sent people to look, but NO ONE has come to repair anything! They left our roof without a tarp during the weekend, and the roof leaked. Our ceilings are ruined in several rooms. We paid 3/4 of the balance, and are waiting for the repairs. They keep calling about the balance, not about the repairs! Each time they call about the balance, they apologize, and tell us someone will reach out right away. Now, they have LIENED our HOME! RIDUCULOUS!!! Unprofessional, sloppy, no communication. They left nails all over the lawn that required 2 guests to go to urgent care as well because of rusty nails. DO NOT USE THEM.....

NO NO NO. They prayed on my elderly mother...... There was a wind storm in Sarasota and she had to get someone to fix it. She said someone came through her neighborhood flyering the doors and she fell for it. They did a 17k roof that leaks and now she has been waiting for 4 months to get them to come fix it under warranty. I just found out about it and came to her house to meet the person that was supposed to be here between 8:30 and 10 AM. Its now noon and no roofer or phone call and no one answering.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
Our salesman was very convincing regarding the integrity of Total Home Roofing, so we signed a contract on 5/31 for a metal roof install. What a mistake that was!! Total Home Roofing should be called 'Total Lack of Communication' and, as we later found out, this company was bought by Angi... ugh.
A week later, we called regarding the scheduling of our install and no one at the company had any idea of when the project would start. In fact, when we asked to speak to a manager/supervisor we were told everyone was at lunch. Must be nice to have the ENTIRE company go to lunch at the same time! We called our salesman who stated that he would make sure things would ""get moving"" soon. He also stated that he talked to Louis (an upper management type person) who would call us and TO THIS DAY we have never heard from this person!
Nearly a month after signing our contract, a crew finally arrived to tear off the old roof and install the underlayment. We were told there was a delay with the order of the roofing materials... we called the warehouse who stated there was no delay and that our order was sitting there waiting to be delivered. How did we get the warehouse number? It was on the paperwork taped to our front door...
Let's move to July 1st where the drip edge was installed but no other roof material; we still only had the underlayment. Since it had taken the crew so long to return after the tear down, the trash dumpster from a separate company was already hauled away. One might ponder, ""where should the roofers put their subsequent trash?"" Where do you think they put it? It sat in our front yard like an eye sore smashing our flood lights and landscaping!! Maybe I should call someone at the roofing company and complain?? Well, I did - multiple times and left messages as well but apparently no one knows how to return a phone call. I'm sure the entire company was probably at lunch again.
Finally on July 11th we have half of the metal roof installed and it passed inspection. BUT the rest of the roof could not be installed because there were 5 other pieces that needed to be re-ordered. And why do these need to be re-ordered?? Because the original 5 pieces were measured wrong the first time. One would think that this would have been taken care of while the first half of the roof was being installed.
FINALLY!! 43 days after signing the contract, multiple un-returned phone calls and unanswered messages, the roofers completed the install and put the trash that has been hanging out in our front yard into a newly delivered dumpster. However, I continue to clean up metal shards, roofing nails and old shingle pieces littered about the outside of the house.

The worst roofing company!!! I have leaks in my daughters bedrooms and they have destroyed my property. I have contacted the general attorney for the state of Florida. They haven't completed my roof.

It has been an ongoing nightmare since January. The non-English speaking crew helped themselves to my fruits leaving twenty unripe fruits under tree. The crew supervisor added wood items to the ""add on"" form after my signature and blatantly denies: ""I can't believe you said that! "" After showing me pictures of the stripped roof and assuring and me that it should take no more than 3 sheets of plywood. His total for 1x2s, 1x4s. 1x6s (never discussed) was $1200 plus. Interestingly enough the total on the invoice was reduced to $780. Another interesting note is that there were 3 sheets of plywood left over on completion of the job. Less than a month after the roof installation, the metal trim started to lift. The lack of communication among employees was astonishing. A skylight and tubular were including in the contract. The installer came to install the tubular but had no knowledge of the skylight installation until he arrived for the job and I insisted it had to be done that day as there was so much mishandling before. It turned out that new skylight installation is not usually done by the company. The installer's boss wanted to know who sold me skylight? The tubular was returned as the area where it should have been installed housed my duct system. Kellie keeps hounding me for payment but keeps bypassing unresolved issues. She insisted that I was not charged for the tubular just the skylight. so not entitled to a credit. Both were on the contract and made up the total payment. I have been so stressed dealing with Kellie who keeps threating with a lien. I told her during a long heated discussion yesterday that the tubular was returned to the installer. I happen to have that recorded. I realized we were not on the same page so I said,
""I going to call someone else!"" She demanded to know. ""who are you calling; I'm the one you're dealing with here forward"" she continued. I called Todd who initiated the contract. He in turn communicated with Kellie that a credit was warranted. To my surprise Kellie sent George to my home to pick up the tubular. I wanted to confront George on his add on after my signature. He absolutely denied. He insisted that the information was on form before signature. Classic cases of gaslighting. I called back Kellie to tell her I did tell her the tubular had been returned. Kellie, of course insisted, ""You didn't tell me!"" What can I say. I have the conversation on tape. All this done to a senior citizen.
