This was the best experience I have had with a roofing company. It started with Todd who provided us with excellent overview of the process and options that we had for our roof replacement. He followed up with estimates and went out of his way to provide us with address of homes that had shingle colors that we wanted to see to finalize our choice. Within a week the crew lead by Hector arrived at our house. They covered all our landscaping and prepared the entire work site prior to starting anything. Hector and the crew could not have done a better job, removed old roof in the morning and installed the new roof that afternoon. The following day his crew returned to conduct a quality inspection of the worksite and finalize the clean up .We could not be happier with the outstanding job that Todd and Hector and his crew did on our house.

I was dumb enough to pay Tosca Roofing to install a simple ridge vent. It turned out to be a disaster. Within a few years it started leaking like a sieve. Rain water drips from the interior ceiling to the floor during heavy rains. Drip, drip, drip, drip...
When the leaks first developed, Tosca came out and inspected the roof. They claimed some shingles had degraded. The ""fixed"" a few by using latex caulk to ""seal"" them. They said they'd come out later to repair the rest. Then came the record downpours of last August. You could see the water dripping from the ceiling in 2 places. This started during the night, and by morning the carpets were soaked. I immediately called Tosca. They said they were very busy with other projects and would try to come out. Despite repeated calls, they never came.
Two real roofing companies came out and inspected my roof. They both said the same thing. Tosca had improperly installed the ridge vent. The cut was off-center, meandering, and of varying widths. The vent barely covered the cut in some places. They also cut into some of the trusses. They failed to seal the shingles they cut through, and also failed to seal the vent onto the shingles. They simply screwed the vent into the roof over the cut. Both roofers said this failed to meet industry installation standards. Repairing the damage will equal the cost of a properly-installed ridge vent.
Tosca's bid for the ridge vent was less than half of other those of other companies. And I got what a I payed for, a completely incompetent job by a company refusing to stand behind their work. I strongly urge the public to avoid Tosca Roofing like the plague.
