I needed a roof, and noticed a Tornado roofing sign on another house down the street so I gave them a call. Eddie came out, gave a competitive quote, and told me I'd have a new roof April 11th. They delivered, and the roof was completed early. Other than the roof, the main request was to make sure the yard was cleaned, and they did a great job; there was more junk in the yard when my neighbor's roof was done than when Tornado did it. They covered the pool during the demo. They were in constant contact via phone, email, and text. If I had a concern, it was handled. I'd do business with them again in a heartbeat.

We had our roof and gutters replaced and we chose Tornado Roofing & Contracting. We could not be more pleased. They lived up to every expectation we could have from beginning to end. The process was explained and adhered to throughout the project. The worksite was kept clean, and all workers handled themselves in a very professional and polite manner - answering any questions we might have had. The job started on-time, and every step of the way the timeline was followed. The job ended on schedule. We definitely recommend Tornado Roofing for any roof repairs or roof replacement.

My experience with Tornado Roofing was terrific. They did what they said they would do and basically did it when they said. It took longer than I think it should have, but that's Florida. As for Tornado, I would give them 4+ stars. Just had inspector do a Mitigation Inspection and he said it was a great job. Eddie Jr was great, Laura in the office is wonderful, and I called in around XMAS time and the owner answered the phone and he was very informative and said they would be coming out the next day to lay tiles and they did. I couldn't be happier. I love these guys, especially Laura.

They were quoting a new roof for my next door neighbor so I asked for a quote to repair of a couple of leaks on our roof. The quote was very reasonable so we had them do the repairs. I didn't read the reviews here until now and am a bit surprised that they are negative. I monitored the work they did and am very happy with it. I'm an avid do-it-yourself-er and am a bit fussy.
They are doing the roof next door and the work there looks very good too - they did quite a bit of wood repair.

We hired Tornado to redo the flat roof, an area of less than 300 sq ft, and to replace some broken tiles on the larger roof. They 'sold' us the Gaco Silicone roof, as durable, maintenance free, with a five year warranty - that was April 2015. Three years down the road, there is nothing left from the silicone layers that were supposed to last 5 years. They certainly blamed on us, for not keeping the maintenance, which consisted of cleaning the leaves on the roof a couple of times a year. We kept the maintenance on schedule, but for this year, because the first cleaning was going to happen in June, second in Dec. They came back with a new estimate of 9,000 dollars (materials not included!!!), to replace 'partially' that roof area of less than 300 sqft. We had other estimates done, and a couple of them said 'whoever' did the Gaco roof, did not put the layers as they should, one silicone, one polyester and again one silicone, and confirmed that the roof was supposed to be maintenance free, as it is impermeable and could be wiped clean. The lateral areas of the roof, where no leaves fall (vertical areas) had nothing left of the Gaco, which we learned cost 200+ a gallon and for that reason, they may have 'saved' some money on this job.

Customer service is totally unprofessional! I tried to make a complain about their mediocre job and the ""receptionist"" was very argumentative and hang up on me, forget about e-mails you are lucky if they answer.
Stay away from this company

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!
Horrible customer service, had an appointment for an estimate at 3pm no one shows up, I email and nothing, I called at 3:45pm & Tyesse puts me on hold, a very rude guy name Rick comes to the phone telling me he is OBVIOUSLY late he had 15 other things to do, if I want to reschedule or no. REALLY? That is how they treat a new customer?!??! HORRIBLE!!!!

My experience with Tornado Roofing is been by far the worse that I have ever had with a service company. Changing the roof on your home is quite an important financial decision, and having the right company doing it is vital. I can only speak based on my own experience, but for me, Tornado Roofing is NOT a company I can trust, they tried to cut corners with my project to save money and NOT doing what was on the scope of the project, which was quite important, needless to say. They were supposed to change the complete facia and supper gutter in the patio as part of the contract, instead, they just painted over the rotted and decayed wood and they did not intend to change the super gutter either, saying it was not needed. You can see pictures of the ""work"" they did in the following link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/f22nj7zjz8uwhzk/Tornado_Roofing.pdf One of the pictures is before they painted over and you can see how damaged the wood was, and the other picture is after they painted over, you can be the judge. Thankfully I am quite handy myself and immediately identified the issue and complained about it, this time they sent a different crew and they changed quite a good amount of wood, their own workers were amazed and couldn't believe that the wood was left in that condition by the other crew. Later they came to try to finish, but with their attempt to finish fast and collect payment, they worked in the rain and all the coloring on the cement was washing off, you can also see the video at the following link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/65r143sd404y52x/20170603_123654%5B1%5D.mp4 I asked the workers how could they be working in the rain and that's when they left and said they will have to come back and re-do everything they had done that day, and as of today I haven't seen anyone. I called weeks after that video was shot to inquire what was going on and I was told that the job was finished and they were just waiting for final inspection!!??? Really? They said they would send a supervisor, a guy named Edy (who I believe is the owner), and I haven't seen anyone yet. Again, you can see pictures of the so called finished job with the difference in colors and the quality of the work. They also left so much trash and debris on top of the roof, and despite constant calls, emails and messages they took weeks to clean it up, and I had to park my cars on the street as I was afraid of something falling on top of my vehicles at night. So, in summary, I am completely disappointed of this company and if I had to choose a company again, I would not choose Tornado Roofing, it is not worth the difference in price.

The roof was installed in November 2007 with a 10 years warranty against leaks. THE ROOF IS LEAKING.
I called the company to have the roof repaired and they said that they will not honor the warranty because I bought the house in 2014 and that I am not the one who contracted the original roof. Nowhere in the documents (contract, quote, invoice) it says that the warranty is not transferable.

I just bought a house and my roof needed changing immediately. Before I closed on the house I gathered several quote and narrow down my choices to two companies, a contractor and Tornado roofing. I went with the contractor, but fired the contractor after waiting a week for him to do so much as to submit a permit with the city. I contacted Tornado roofing and spoke with Eddie Jr who assured me that he would submit the permit on the same day that I signed the contract. I check with the city to see if he kept his word and sure enough there was a permit submitted. Eddie convince me to go with the Architectural shingle instead of standard 3 tab, because they last longer, but it was not the durability that impress me but it was the appearance of the house which blew me away. The job was finish in a very short time and they did it with in $30 of the quoted figure. I was able to get him on the phone 90% of the time. My experience with tornado is nothing short of great and I highly recommend them to anyone. There was one little concern for those who hire this company that is they should negotiate down the price for replacement of fascia board beyond the allotted 30 linear feet. I think they charge a little high for replace of fascia beyond the 30 linear feet. This did not affect me because I did not need more that the 30 linear feet. Beyond this point, they will always be my go to person for roofing.
