Despite several follow-up emails and text messages to the co-owner (Alex), TopTier Roofing failed to provide a satisfactory resolution. I reached out to the co-owner, Elisha, who requested that I text her, which I did on July 9, 2024. She assured me that I would receive an update by the end of the week and documented the details in my account. Elisha also forwarded my message to Alex and asked me to remain patient. I have been patient, especially since I provided the full insurance check on May 29, 2024. Eventually, the owners stopped responding altogether, leaving several tasks incomplete. I had high hopes for TopTier Roofing, but this experience has been incredibly disappointing. I expected a higher standard of quality and customer service. In my view, a reputable company should demonstrate commitment, trust, and effective communication. Unfortunately, TopTier Roofing fell short in all these areas. I anticipate a rebuttal from the company, as it's typical for them to protect their reputation. I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS

March 2024: Master Bedroom

Window was shattered from Hail on March 21, 2024. I
contacted American Warranty, and they dispatched TopTier
Roofing. I met Alex and Trisha at my home. They advised filing
a Home Insurance claim. I filed a Home Insurance Claim on
March 28, 2024.


May 29, 2024: Insurance Check
The insurance check was issued to TopTier Roofing, and based
on trust, I provided the full payment upfront. In hindsight, I've
been advised by family and friends that it would have been
more prudent to release only half the payment
initially, reserving the remainder until the work was
satisfactorily completed.



June 11, 2024: The entire roof was replaced with new shingles, which Alex
assured are designed to be hail and wind resistant.




July 8, 2024: Roof

I reached out to Alex to report that several shingles were
dislodged after Hurricane
Beryl. I captured photos and videos of the loose shingles and
sent them to him via text and email.
The shingles are still covered under warranty.

August 26, 2024: To date, the listed tasks remain incomplete. Despite repeated assurances of completion, I have been consistently ignored and left without follow-up. Although, reviewing the warranty document, I still don't know the brand of my shingles. I reached out to another office worker via email at TopTier Roofing on August 7, 2024, since Alex has not been responding to my emails or texts. However, I have yet to receive a response regarding the brand of my shingles and my shingles have yet to be repaired or replaced!


If this company cannot fulfill the assignment, why accept a dispatch call from American Home Shield Warranty in the first place?
