HONEST HONEST HONEST. Came out to do an estimate and was very straightforward and honest. He was so informative and suggested us what to do so that we wouldn't be unnecessarily wasting money or time. His free estimate was well worth it considering he was educating us on the things that were going on in our commercial roof in downtown LA. Our roof is flat except for one small pitched area right in the middle. It's uninsulated and we thought maybe this was making it extra hard for our air conditioner to keep the house cool on hot days. Ron Karu of Top Roofing came out to look at our roof and assured us that insulation would make a big difference in keeping the house cool in summer and warm in...well, whenever we get cold weather...which seems to be never. Anyway, he was very flexible about scheduling and patient with our dithering over the tile choice. He had to change his start date a few times, but he always gave us plenty of notice. He gave us plenty of options and was upfront about costs. His guys were done in one day, and the roof looks great. We already notice the difference in our use of the A/C. We used to dial the thermostat to 78 and by the end of the day, it would be struggling to keep the house below 82; now we set the thermostat and our air conditioner OBEYS. When it comes time to replace the rest of our roof, we'll definitely be calling Top Roofing. In addition to doing a fine job, the insulation does what Ron said it would do: save us money.

We give this company 5 stars for being HONEST. Marc came out to give us an estimate and found that we didn't need to do the all the work we had anticipated. He offered a much more affordable approach and was very friendly in the process. We so appreciate honesty in a company. We will definitely call Top Roofing again!!!

I called to get an estimate on roofing from Top Roofing and they came out same day...Literally within a few hours. Moshe was very knowledgeable as to the current laws and regulations and even the rebates based off of certain roofing shingles. Unfortunately, I needed it to be done on a certain day and he was already booked. I did not use him only because of this reason. When I have another roofing need, I will be sure to call them! Thank you Moshe!!!

This place is the best! We had a roofing emergency when our very old roof starting having some major leaking issues and needed a brand new roof. We also needed roofing material for our balconies. We needed someone with experience and knowledge to handle major work on our house, someone we could really trust. With Top Roofing, we were in good hands!

Moshe came and gave us a fair and honest estimate. He was very knowledgable and professional. What I also really like about Moshe is that he came by every day to supervise and check on the work being done and make sure we were happy and everything was going well. He also always answers his phone so, if you need him, he is there for you. In addition to being a roofer, he is also a contractor so if there are any other issues that come up, he can help. And the work is guaranteed which, to me, is always important.

At the end, when the work was done, we passed inspection of our roof on the first attempt and the inspector kept saying the word ""excellent"". Not only is our roof strong and durable but it is also so aesthetically pleasing. Our house looks so nice! I've gotten so many compliments.

I am so happy I found Top Roofing on Yelp. All the 5 star reviews are true except I would probably give them an extra star because, not only do they do an incredible job, but they have the most amazing customer service and even with the good Yelp reviews, they exceeded our expectations in every way.

I have been in the middle of a massive construction project for over a year. When it came time for a new roof, I did not use my contractors, instead, I used Moshe and Marc from Top Roofing. The total budget was just over $24k in roofing between main house and detached garage. This was for new sheeting, underlayment, True Definition 30year Shingles, T&G eaves and 2x6 fascia board.

I am writing this is for people actually spending money on a new roof and not for small repairs, or quotes. As I have spent more than a year under construction, I have met a lot of trades and have had many questions, that seemed to never be answered. Hopefully, I can answer a few for those people searching here.

First, Moshe was our rep and he came out and provided a competitive quote, quickly. They were within $900.0 of every other quote, so the criteria to decide were reviews and the general feeling I got from my conversations with them.

When we decided to get it done, Marc and Moshe met us on a Saturday and worked out all the details and payments. Within two days they were working with a large crew and had new sheeting up inside a week. The crew was fantastic, respectful of the property and other trades on the site and took all their trash with them.

After inspection, the new eaves and fascia board went up and then the underlayment. After that, we had another inspection and then we could lay shingle. Their crew worked into the night to be done. However, I noticed on the next day a considerable amount of trash on the property. Even though it was a Jewish holiday, Moshe came out and inspected the property and had his guys on site in a day to clean up. Amazing service... and I can tell you most trades would have just said ""too bad"".

The quality of the work is terrific... even the inspector, who has been on my job site a dozen times and knows me well enough to feel comfortable interjecting on the craftsmanship of the various trades, was impressed.

In the end it lasted about 3 weeks due to inspection delays and the new fascia board and eaves. The quality of the seems between the sheeting was excellent, the nail pattern on the underlayment was correct, the shingles were set right from the first course and the facia boards and eaves were level and straight. Just about perfect... and when my AC guy noticed they had pushed his heat vent pipe too close to the sheeting, they came out, re cut the hole, put new flashing down and re shingled that section. That was two months later.

Outstanding service, great quality and they find ways to get it paid for.
I wish my whole project was run by these guys.

I am so glad I looked up Yelp for roofers. This is where I found L.A. Top Roofing and Moshe came out to check my roof as we had a leak coming from who-knows-where on the roof down to the inside of the house, even on days when it didn't really rain....it spit....typical of L.A.! It turned out I needed a new roof finally after 21 years. Moshe and his crew were amazing and very professional! They did a clean job and I would TOTALLY recommend Top Roofing. Moshe is honest and reliable and they get the job done when they say they will. I am very happy that I chose Top Roofing. I will be honest, I had called a couple of other roofers that had some good reviews on Yelp but I immediately cancelled after Moshe came and told us what the problem was when nobody else could figure it out. Don't call anyone else. They will gyp you. Moshe is honest and will tell you exactly what the problem is. We didn't realize how bad it was on our roof until he showed us the pictures. Go with Top Roofing and ask for Moshe. He and his guys will get the job done and they will do it right! Nice guys, clean, honest professional and very cool!
