I thought it was time for a new roof and I was dreading finding the right company to do the work because I often hear how dishonest they are and how they are all out money. I ended up calling Top Roofing because of the Yelp reviews and Ron came out to check out my roof. He could have lied and told me that I needed a new roof immediately but he didn't. He showed me photos of my roof and explained in detail what I needed to get done. And he actually said if I take care of it, I have another 4-5 years. Workers came the next day and got it done. Ron even came back a couple of days later to go up on my roof and take pics for me so I can see the work that was done. Great guy, great company, will definitely use them again.

I found out the raccoon was digging into our roof for the past 4 days and possibly might want to have cubs inside. Not only did I call the animal capture, but was able to call Top Roofing to come within 2 days to take a look at our roof.

Ron came and not only pointed out the hole the raccoon created, but other dents we had around the roof. It was definitely a hazard and he was able to give us a great deal so instead of patching up one spot, we went ahead and fixed the whole thing in one day.

Wow! It was so worth spending the money. My husband and I never felt happier. Thanks Ron and we will call you for our next roof work.

I spent several weeks interviewing about 20 roofing companies. This is no joke! I even had a spread sheet listing out companies information and price quotes. I called almost every company in our area (and then some) for quotes and I saw them all. Boy howdy! Majority of the companies I spoke with had ridiculously high prices, some were flat out unprofessional (i.e. didn't even bring his own ladder), and one roofing company I ended up having to kick out of my house during the quote!!!

We called Ron at Top Roofing and it was the most pleasant experience we had with a roofing company! My husband and I really appreciated how straight forward he was and there were no surprises in the end. He explained the entire process to us and made sure to answer all of our questions. On top of that, Top Roofing had the best price hands down! For the amount of work and quality of shingles we chose, they were still by far the least expensive compared to the other companies!!! Ron made sure we were completely satisfied the entire processes and we were!

Several of our neighbors would walk by and ask us questions about the processes! One of my neighbors was so impressed with the work being done on our house that he got a quote from Ron and he's now using Top Roofing!!!

It makes me very sad to see some of these one star reviews here on Yelp. Ron and his crew are simply amazing and I wouldn't recommend anyone else!!!

This is my 100th review and I wanted to choose a good one!

Last year we had a leak in our roof, in an area that is covered in Spanish tiles from who knows when. We didn't have money to redo the whole tile section of the roof at the time, so we opted for a quick fix and went with a different roofing company. Cut to this year... another leak under the tiled section of the roof, different location, and large enough that a wall got soaked. Okay... we got the message... time to do it up right.
We got bids from three roofing companies with great Yelp reviews. Each of them thoroughly inspected the roof and submitted a detailed bid proposal. After negotiating with all three, Top Roofing came in with a price that rivaled one, but with a detailed description of thorough work that rivaled the other. So Top Roofing it was.
The job entailed (as best as my non-roofer brain can recall) removing all of the tile from our roof, as well as everything underneath down to the wood. Ron gave a price that included replacing any rotted wood that he would find (a plus over the other bids, as we didn't know how much rotted wood might be under there and didn't like the idea of the surprise added cost), and indeed, there was some wood that needed to be replaced. They then laid two layers of underlinement, it looks like they replaced the gutters (even though I don't think that was in the bid), added additional sealant (sorry, I can't remember what it's called, but it involves the black roll type roofing that needs heat) and they put that along all the seams where our roof changes levels. They replaced all of the broken or cracked tiles (on our roof that was approximately 350 tiles!) and even added cement to the ends because our tiles were too small for birdstops (something we requested in our bid), but we have squirrels and rodents who like to camp out in our tile roof.
Every step of the way Ron gave us regular updates, without us needing to follow up with him. He was extremely friendly and willing to explain, in detail, the work that they had just done and what they would be doing next.
Our roof now looks great and as of the last rain (which was admittedly light, but lasted all night), no leaks. I will update if that changes, but with 7 year warranty, I'm not as worried about it.
Okay, so now the only negative, and it didn't really affect us too much but I feel it worth mentioning for anyone where time is their first priority... it did take them twice as long to complete the project as originally estimated. This was, in part, due to the large number of tiles that needed to be replaced and how difficult it was for them to find those exact tiles, apparently. But regardless, there were 6 days of relatively loud work as opposed to the 3 we originally thought it would be. That said, in the project management triangle... I'll opt for good quality at a good price over fast and either of the other two, any day.
Lastly, I'm damn picky and was very anxious about handing over what is a very large amount of money for our household, for a job where I really don't have the expertise to ensure it was done right. And I have to say that I never regretted going with Top Roofing. Not once. I'm guessing that chances are good, if you go with them, you'll also be happy that you did.

It's unfortunate when a business is not even professional enough to call back a prospective client. I personally called Top Roofing two times, leaving messages and completing an online request for an estimate with no response. Business must be great; good for you Top Roofing!

I am pleased with Top Roofing's work. They replaced my flat roof. It used to rain inside the house when it rained outside, but now it's dry. I worked with Ron, and Malisa --both of whom were responsive and professional..

I was very pleased with Top Roofing. I had to replace a flat asphalt roof and most of the plywood under it. They did an excellent and timely job. I enjoyed working with the owner Ron who was very clear and communicative and trustworthy and helpful. They threw in a fairly large amount of extra work on another roof on my property for free!
I met with three contractors and have worked with a different one before. Ron and his employees compares favorably to the other, bigger roofing company.
I highly recommend Ron and his crew.

I called this company right after the last storm brought water into my new construction home. Although, I am ending up going with another company due to the warranty nature of the work, I was very impressed with Ron's demeanor. There was nothing in it for him, specifically, however, he offered sound helpful advice and was very professional. I can only imagine this ethic carries over to their work as well and I will definitely consider them should I have need for non warranty work in the future.

I read the reviews and they seem good so I have been trying to get someone to come out to give me a quote on my roof. This is the most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. Half the time no body answers the phone - no voice machine half the time and Lee cancelled 2 appointments with me. Whoever Melissa is in the office needs to be fired. I'm glad the roofing business is so good that you can run a business like this but you should not take this or your potential customers for granted. Not sure if I want somebody fixing my roof if they are so sloppy at running a business.
