I was experiencing a small drip leak from a vent cap in my attic. Reached out to Top Quality Roofing along with a handful of other roofing companies. Many companies wanted to literally remove 1/3 of my roof as a starter without any inspection. Instead, Top Quality Roofing sent Shane out to assess and he repaired what appeared to be the culprit without having to pull off all of my roofing. Haven't seen a single drip in the attic since and during some recent rains.

When it came time to put a new roof on our home, I contacted quite a few roofing companies, and then I met Shane from Top Quality Roofing. He stopped by and took a look at our home, and sat down with me and my wife to find out exactly what we were looking for.

Once I decided on TQR to do the job, Shane was there every step of the way for every question or comment I had, and was professional, courteous, and just kind. He walked us through shingle choices and colors and advised us of how the job would proceed from tear off to plywood, fascia board, and shiplap, to the paper and the new shingles.

When I drove up the street today toward my home, I could see the difference immediately. Throughout the last few days, I checked in on the crew through my doorbell camera and my neighbor, who was watching them work, sent me updates and pictures periodically. These guys worked hard, and their expertise shows.

Mike and his crew just repaired a roof leak in my home. His work corrected a poorly made repair made by another roofer.

I found Mike to be communicative, and he did what he said he would do when he said he would do it - a rarity with contractors these days.

Mike's rates are reasonable. He is fast and did some little extras that I needed, but I didn't know I needed them. For example, he cleaned my gutters and repainted the gas vent cap--all within the price he quoted.

If you need a responsive roofer, Mike is your man!

We had a leak in our roof that was coming through the ceiling in our garage. We had several estimates and chose Mike with Top Quality Roofing. They finished the job in one day and it looks terrific. They even replaced a few displaced tiles higher up on the roof that I hadn't noticed. He sent an outstanding crew with Humberto. Very professional.

In addition to the excellent work, I was extremely pleased with Mike's responsiveness to my texts or phone calls. He always got back to me very quickly. They will be our ""go to"" for any future roofing work. I give them my unconditional recommendation.

When my nephew, a Marine colonel stationed in Guam asked me to arrange for roof repairs at his San Clemente, California home, I gladly agreed. I met with and interviewed three roofing contractors and selected Mike Vogelgesang of Top Quality Roofing. All too frequently, home contractors say they are going to be at your home to do work or provide an estimate, but they don't appear, and they don't call. Others are poor at returning phone calls or even answering text messages and email.
Not so with Mike Vogelgesang. To provide the estimate he arrived right on time. He exuded confidence and made it clear he was very well versed in his profession. He provided an estimate that I thought was reasonable and he got the job. Some contractors are responsive up until they get the job then they are slow to respond or even show up when promised.
Not so with Mike Vogelgesang. He promptly returned phone calls and text messages. He was responsive to our requests even when complications on our part arose and he was always accommodating. When I requested documentation from Mike, he provided it quickly.
Besides being prompt, responsive and very professional, Mike projects the clear impression that he is honest, moral, ethical. and of the highest integrity.
As far as I am concerned, he is the only option for roofing work in the San Clemente area.
