We used Top Line Roofing in 2018 to repair a portion of our roof. They did an excellent job.
Recently we had our annual termite inspection. We were advised to have this same portion of the roof rechecked because there was a stain noted by the inspector. We called Top Line for this. Their roofer Armando checked the attic and the roof. We were relieved to hear that the stain was old and the roof was intact. There was no charge for the inspection. Should we need any further roofing repair, we will certainly return to Top Line. They're Top Notch!!

After my experience, I would say these guys are no different than a dishonest car mechanic, trying to take advantage of you. I recently had a roof leak, and had four different companies come take a look. All four companies had 4.5 to 5 star ratings on yelp. Three of the companies all diagnosed the same exact problem, provided pictures for me to see the problem, and price quotes that were pretty similar.

Then there was Top Line Roofing. After sending somebody to look at my roof, I got an email from Wayne with my price quote. His quote was about $2000 higher than the other companies. He also went on to say that my roof had multiple issues causing the leak (which apparently all 3 other companies must have missed). Since I'm no roof expert, I tried to consider what he says to be true. So, I reply to his email by requesting a couple pictures to help me see and better understand some of the problems he says my roof has. It's since been over a week and Wayne has yet to reply to my picture request. I'm sure their must be pictures somewhere, otherwise how could Wayne have quoted me and known I had multiple issues since he wasn't the person who came out to look at my roof? BUYER BEWARE! Top Line Roofing is looking to take advantage of people in a tough situation and up-charge for made up problems they can't prove exist.

We can't say enough positive things about Wayne and his crew from Top Line Roofing. As part of getting a solar system for our home, we need to replace our 27 year old composite shingle roof. We are so glad that we did not bundle the work with the solar company company but instead get estimates from highly rated roofing contractors independent from the solar company. Wayne was very responsive to questions and coordinating with the solar company and was incredible conscientious about the workmanship of his crew. Even though the roofing job was complete, he did a post-solar installment inspection of the roof and found several things that needed to be repaired. After the repairs Wayne did a final inspection. You don't see many businesses that operate with the level of thoroughness, customer focus and professionalism that Wayne and his crew display.

If you need a new roof, you can't go wrong with Top Line Roofing.

Things started off really well. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate for a roof repair. The company called two days before and again the day before the estimate to confirm the appointment. Seemed a little excessive but better to be over communicative than under. On the day oft the appointment, the estimator Jeremy called to say he was running a littlelate which I thought was no problem. Stuff happens. He identified the suspected cause of the leak, was professional, provided a verbal estimate, and promised to provide a written estimate with photos. He seemed like someone I would want to work with.

So you may be wondering why the 1 star review...well, things went way downhill from there...

Red flag #1: After not hearing back from the estimator, I reached out by email and heard no response. I figured maybe Jeremy wasn't an email person although his email address was on the card he provided.

Red flag #2: The next day, I called the main office line and the woman who answered the phone was a little cranky but hey, we all have our off days so I asked for the promised written estimate.

Red flag #3: I received a proposed contract, not the estimate I requested and without photos. Okay, well, I might as well read the contract. This is where things started going really downhill. Not a lot of detail regarding the proposed work like other estimates I've received. But the main issue was this was the MOST ONE-SIDED CONTRACT I've ever seen (and I've read, written and revised a lot of contracts in my day). At this point, I really should have run in the opposite direction but in an effort to work with them, I went ahead and marked up the proposed contract to be more equitable and reasonable to both parties and offered to discuss with the company owner. (Some of the changes benefitted then as well.)

Red flag #4, 5, 6...: A company rep Cori (spelling?) called me and said they will accept no changes, take it or leave it, and the owner is unavailable. She then mentions someone is listening in on our call -- not sure why that's the case and it is quite frankly unprofessional not to announce that at the beginning of a call. Did I also mention that Cori is beyond rude and condescending during this entire call?! But because I am apparently a glutton for punishment, I offered again to speak to the owner directly about the agreement. (I do not expect a call back.) As expected, no call from the owner, and instead I received an email indicating they are not interested in the job. Don't worry, Top Line, the feeling is completely mutual.

Totally dodged a major bullet here! I can't imagine how this company would response to any actual issue. (This was in my mind, this was a minor issue unless they had ill intent with respect to the proposed work.) Caveat emptor!!

Jeremy was fantastic!! Very professional and great customer service to boot! He showed up on time and had our roof repaired in literally minutes! Saved us just in time from the next rain. Definitely recommend and very grateful for such amazing service!

Everyone at Top Line Roofing was easy to deal with from the initial quote to the office. They were quick to come out and gave me a quote and then scheduled the job quickly. Savino and Augustine were very efficient and fixed a couple sections with missing tiles and replaced 50+ cracked tiles. I can easily recommend them to friends and neighbors and they are on my list of trusted contractors.

Great roofing company. I've been using them for years. They care about the customer and really pay attention to the small details. I had a gutter cleaning service come by and even they asked who did my roofing because it was done so well - and those guys see a lot of roofs. Highly recommend using them for your roofing needs!

They did what they said they would, when they said they would, at the price they said they would. The price seemed fair. Hasn't rained much yet but so far so good. They won't try to get you to replace the entire roof if you don't need it.
