Top marks for professionalism!

My partner and I decided to bite the bullet and spring for a new heating system this winter. We decided to go with Top Energy after meeting with 5 companies (two others flaked out on me after I scheduled estimates). Not only did they have the most reasonable price (though, another company was within $100 of them), but Leor gave me an itemized quote, took the time to explain precisely what the project involved, and didn't insult me with nonsense sales tactics. If you are just beginning your HVAC contractor search, let me tell you that these qualities are not always easy to find.

The installation went off without any issues. His guys were able to find a creative way to install the return in a location that worked for us. Leor came by a couple times to check on the work, at the start and finish of the installation, and even showed me how to use the fancy new Nest thermostat. The heat feels even throughout the house and warms up quickly, so I am very happy with the result.

One of the guys accidentally threw out a plate that was covering a hole in the wall where they were installing the thermostat and, within a week, Leor sent another guy to patch it. I understand that these things happen, but it's a sign of real professionalism that they took ownership and quickly fixed it.

When we're ready to take the plunge and get AC, I'll definitely be calling them again!

Leor and his team recently installed a new Mini Split AC/Heating system in 3 rooms of my house. I spoke to several companies but once I met with Leor, I knew he was the right guy for the job. His entire team was extremely professional, friendly, on-time and cleaned up before they left......and when I wasn't completely satisfied with the placement of one of the units, they immediately moved it, patched the wall and even offered to paint! Bottom Line Upfront: I would hire Leor again and again. For me money is not easy to come by and I did not want to have to get my AC installation redone or have problems for any reason due to installation error. Leor is a man of his work and his work is superb. I has two other quotes and Leor was right in the middle. Leor's team did a new install with 3 ton unit on my 1939 home in Los Angeles. The home previously only had gravity fed heating. Leor kept me informed every step of the way. I currently live in the South and Leor gave me the assurance I could trust him and his team. Job was completed on time. Oh, and must I add that he removed a wall heater and patched and painted the vacant opening and you could not tell there was ever any repair. I am truly pleased.

Professional, prompt, efficient and responsive. Had a non-working air conditioner over a hot weekend recently. Called numerous companies and since it was a weekend, companies were not immediately available. Top Energy was one of the few that responded promptly. Their technician was able to get it working again - capacitor replacement. Then the following week, stopped working again and I was a bit fearful they would leave me hanging but no, a management person (I think may have been the owner) came out himself and got it running again (system for some reason needed a reset). Been working fine ever since. I really appreciated the prompt follow-up for a possible re-do.
