This local, family owned roofing company did an amazing job, in a short period of time, right around the holidays for our family. Kathy worked with me to choose colors for the roof and gutters and explained in detail the various options I had, all the while being very patient with my indecisiveness and questions. Once the choice was made Troy and his team completed the work, cleaned up and I was ready for the winter storms in about 2 days! The overall cost was very fair and reasonable and it's always nice to be able to support a locally owned, family business! Highly recommend these folks!!

TK Roofing was great! I have a very difficult house to reroof. My home is like a compound, completely gated / walled, with koi ponds, trees, plants, decks, etc. It's also on a narrow private street that makes getting vehicles and materials difficult to get in and out. Troy and his crew were professional and fast. They did a great job. Troy is super responsive and friendly. His sons are part of his crew and they clearly know what they are doing. They were careful to not get any debris in the koi pond, They had to hand carry all the old roof shingles and materials out because you can't get the dump truck up to the house. My house also has 6 or 7 different roof levels with a steep pitch. Everything about my job was complicated and a pain in the _____! However, TK Roofing did a great job, and took care of everything. They even helped me put on new skylights which was not part of their original job, and they hauled away a bunch of debris and trash from other parts of my remodel for me.

Then this winter after heavy rain I discovered some water on the floor and I could not tell where it might be coming from. I thought it might be the roof, so I called Troy. He came out to my house immediately to take a look. It turned out that it was not the roof, but he and my contractor figured out that it was coming from a vent on the side of the house by the floor. Even though it was not Troy's problem he still came out and helped us figure out where the leak was coming from.

After completing an extensive whole house remodel and dealing with many people. I have to say that it's rare to find someone this responsive! Their prices were also less than most of the other estimates I received.

Very disappointing. I have a 2 year roof certification from TK Roofing. I received the certification when I bought my house. I contacted them after I suspected leak in the roof. I called them multiple times. Every time it went to their voicemail and they never responded back. After waiting for a few days, I sent them an email message from their website. This time they called back. I believe it was Kathy on the phone, and she said that she never got my phone messages and that she will call me back soon to schedule a visit. That is the last I heard from them. Its now been almost a month and no response from them.
How can you trust them if they don't even respond back. What is the point of getting roof certification from them if they are not going to even show up?

Sorry I flamed this business on my last review, but if you are lucky enough to get a hold of someone instead of the answering machine would be like hitting the lottery. I eventually got them to come out and do the repairs, but I was constantly texting or calling the office and leaving message to find out when Troy would be able to come out just to give me an estimate. I didn't hear anything back for two weeks, so I called them again and left messages for three days and finally Kathy called back and apologized for the delay and Troy will call me. He said he would have an estimate for me in a couple of days, but it was more like a week. The reason I put up with this is Troy does good work and his prices are reasonable. I've got quotes from other roofers for other jobs and most will make a huge list of things not needed and in turn drive up the final cost. If you need repairs done immediately, this business may not be for you. If you have the patience to follow up and not in a hurry, then give these guys a call. Kathy, I know you read your reviews and my suggestion to you is communicate and follow up with your customers in a timely manner. This whole process took a month and if you were to tell me your business is unable to do the work, then I would respect that and made my own decision to either wait or move on. If you tell me that I will have a quote in two days, then get it to me by then or at least follow up. You guys do good work and offer fair pricing, but you are disorganized. I will always call you first for all my needs, but I will also give my honest opinion on Yelp.

DO NOT USE. Completely unethical owners. I have a 60 year warranty for a roof this company put on September 8, 1995. We had a tile break in 2011 and they came out and fixed it. No problems at all. Last week after big storms we notice a major leak in our child's bedroom which made mold. I called them out and told them about black mold. For a solid week Kathleen told me someone would be coming out everyday so I wait and no one shows. Today they actually show up, goes on the roof, tells me there are a couple broken tiles as he's ripping them out and tossing them. Mind you my husband just went on that roof a few days earlier and not one tile was broken. Roofer then tells me it's the clog of the peak and it is going to cost 1500.00 for a total of 3 hours of work to unclog a peak and an extra 300.00 for the wood it ruined. Nothing is covered as it was his Dads company, which he gave his son in 2008, and so that warranty is no good. If warranty was good it would cover it fully. I ask him why is it that you won't cover the warranty for same company (especially since he covered it in 2011) and he kept respecting it was his dads company then. I knew there was going to be a huge issue when they kept not coming every day but was honestly hopeful they would do the right thing. As he's walking away he says under his breath no will fix that for cheaper like that's supposed to entice me to want to do business with someone with such amazing manners and ethics. At that point I told him he was completely unethical and to leave.

I called them in hopes they could send someone to assess a leak in our roof. It was raining at the time but Troy was here with in the hour and replaced a few tile that were broken and solved the problem (in the rain). Fantastic service, professional and courteous. I have recommended TK Roofing to several people and will continue to do so.

Had them fix a leak around my fireplace. They came. But unannounced and left a huge mess when they left. Patch worked for about a year. Leaking again. Called them again but they never called back.

I highly recommend TK Roofing for all your roofing needs. This husband and wife team are absolutely the BEST! Kathy basically held my hand walking me through everything. She was so very patient with me as I had a very hard time picking a color for the roof and the gutters. (Took me weeks!) Not to mention understanding all the different types of roofs. (I am sure a lot of people in my neighborhood thought I was stalking them as I would drive by their home looking at their roofs for days trying to figure out a color) Troy was GREAT! His crew and him did an awesome job from beginning to end. I LOVE MY NEW ROOF AND GUTTERS!

If you need a new roof & gutters TK Roofing is who you need to call. A family owned business who know their stuff. Professional, efficient, courteous and pet friendly. They clean up , no nails, tar paper or metal laying around. My new roof is environmentally better than what I had before.
