Willie P.Exercise extreme caution if contemplating using Titan Roofing of Mt Pleasant SC for a metal roof. Worked with ""Richard"" who I was told is the owner. Contract negotiations dragged on for 30+days. All due to inaccurate material and other information included by Titan in the contract. I had to constantly correct. After signed contracts were executed I was told a sub contractor would be needed for extra cost to remove and replace shingles for roof flashing purposes. This was also after a $30 k + 1/2 down payment was provided. Once I informed them that it was not my responsibility to find a shingle sub contractor and that a temporary stop payment was made on the deposit check until they provided an updated contract with the shingle work, the owner said he was no longer interested in doing the job. I feel like I was being strung along for a month. Just to get a check from me. And that it was merely a scam from day 1.
