My roof had a bad leak. Titan called me and sent out an estimator fairly quickly. The quote came in at $4800 and I approved it because they could get to it before the rain. After I received and signed the estimate, the owner called me to say he could not honor the five year guarantee on the estimate and it would only be for two years. Should have been a clue.

A day was scheduled, but they didn't show up. Another day was scheduled, and they didn't show up. Rain was forecast. A week went by, and they sent out a crew.

The Titan foreman informed the boss that there was some issue with the estimate. He sent me a revised price of $8000! No explanation, nothing. I asked him for an accounting of what the additional $3200 was for, and I was given a ration of excuses by the boss who kept saying he didn't want to lose money. I asked them to email me a revised quote, but never received it.

I asked if the $8000 was the final price, and the answer was no, which is a standard disclaimer. Any repairs of damage hidden underneath the roofing are chargeable. No doubt it would be high, and I would have no recourse. Usually you just need to trust the contractor. In this case all trust was burned to the ground by the Titan team.

I guess they thought I was just going to give him a blank check. The owner, Abel, kept harping on the fact that he wasn't going to do the job and lose money. I wasn't asking him to. I simply wanted something in writing.

The bottom line is, while they probably know how to do a roof, they know nothing about customer service, accurate estimating, being reliable, or explaining the work to be done relative to the price.

They blew me off and are looking for the next easy money.

It rained 2 days later and the roof leaked badly.

Barry Perilli had me sign the bid-proposal and contract right away so we could keep the scheduled date he and I agreed to. On the scheduled date he never showed up and I never received a call or any kind of communication from this man! After attempting to contact him several times he finally responded to me via e-mail (chump) and stated since it was suppose to rain he needed to re-schedule appointments and he didn't feel it was necessary to contact me until they worked out the new schedule? WTF Barry? My time doesn't mean a damn thing I guess and if schedules had to be re-arranged don't you think your customer who signed the contract would be your first call? IDIOT! Never heard from Barry again! MIA! DONT USE THIS COMPANY TAKE THE TIME TO CALL SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!

Titan and Angel did a great job. They accommodated my schedule and started work at 9:00am and completed the job by 6:00pm that same day. They were neat and cleaned up most of the debris from the roofing materials that was used. The workers were pleasant and took only one 30 minute break. I would highly recommend them. Barry is a dedicated, caring sales rep as well.
